McKenna Johnson McKenna Johnson 5'9" | SG Wilmot | 2024 State WI
Although Johnson is tucked into the southeast corner of Wisconsin and doesn’t play on a team threatening to get to the Resch Center, she has had an outstanding season. The junior has been the focal point of her team’s offense and has consistently found ways to put the ball in the basket. She’s in an elite class of scorers in Wisconsin. Johnson can score from anywhere on the floor and put the ball in the basket through pressure.
Reagan Briggs Reagan Briggs 5'9" | SG Verona | 2024 State WI
The Wildcats have a well-oiled offensive machine, and with Taylor Stremlow Taylor Stremlow 5'8" | PG Verona | 2024 State WI back this season, Briggs can play her more natural role as a scoring guard. The junior has a good blend of physical traits with her strength and speed. She can cut through defenses and play through contact around the rim. Later in the postseason, one thing to keep an eye on is how much attention Briggs draws and by which defender. If teams look to take Stremlow out of games, don’t be surprised if Briggs has a game in sectionals.
Lindsey Schadewalt Lindsey Schadewalt 5'10" | SG New Glarus | 2024 State WI
There hasn’t been anyone as consistent as Lindsey Schadewalt Lindsey Schadewalt 5'10" | SG New Glarus | 2024 State WI this season. In only four games this season, Schadewalt has scored less than 20 points in a game, and all of them were blowouts. The 21-0 Glarner Knights will always have a puncher’s chance because they have Schadewalt on their team. The junior has all the tools to have a breakout postseason to add to her breakout season this year. I love watching her work offensively because her skill level is unbelievable.
Makena Christian Makena Christian 6'0" | PF Hartford | 2025 State WI
In the 2025 class, Christian is one of the best, and she’s backed that assertion up. There isn’t much she can’t do on the floor, and after some early struggles as a team, she’s helped right the ship, and they’ve ripped off a bunch of wins in a row. She’s already a 1,000-point scorer and, in my opinion, the best player in the North Shore Conference. The Hawks of Hartford gave Germantown all they could handle last year in regionals on the road and are a sleeper in Sectional 2 of Division 1 again this season. Christian always gives them a chance to win any game they play.
