Ms. Basketball candidates

As we come close to having to make that decision, here are some candidates who I feel will be in contention for the award. Sole ed the GMC in scoring and assists and let's be honest, their conference may be the best in Ohio. Depending how many the Southwest District puts onto the list for this award will determine the chance she gets. Sole is so explosive and makes plays for her team. She has led her team to the regionals and will have a bigtime challenge with Mason in the regional semis.rnrnShe has a bigtime skillset, is very athletic and able to create shots from anywhere on the court. Wallace is a player who can score from both the inside or outside with a nice pull-up jumper from the midrange and can step out behind the arc.rnrnVery good on the boards, controls the ball and has very good footwork around the rim. Has excellent handles and her court vision is next level. Her game has progressed with better handles and is able to create for her team.rnrnHer unlimited range and good handles. She is a coaches kid with a high level IQ and can just make plays for her team. She led her team to the district finals before falling short to Holland Springfield. From the Northwest District, she is among a talented group of players who have put together great seasons.rnrnDouglas sits at 16 points and over 5 rebounds per game, has incredible quickness and smooth handles. She averaged 29.5 points, 12.7 rebounds and 6.5 steals per game.rnrnNobody will forget her 59-point effort this season as Loudonville needed every point in a four point win. But she does so much more than score. She is a great leader and sees the floor so well. Distributes the ball in the right place, outstanding rebounder and can lead the break.
