New Additions to the Class of 2023

The Class of 2023 is winding down their senior season and between this week and next are embarking into the playoffs. Exciting times for these experienced athletes. Here are some new names that cracked our class of prospects, and many of them remain unsigned!   [player_tooltip player_id='100511' first='Adriana' last='Young'] - Rapid City Central - 5'10" - F   A talented scorer who gets after it on both ends, plays with a high IQ, and hustles makes for the start of our new additions to a deep class of 2023 athletes. At 5'10" and athletic Young has the basketball mold everyone looks for on paper.   [player_tooltip player_id='594216' first='Mya' last='Boomsma'] - Wolsey/Wessington - 5'9" - F   Mya is a relaly dynamic player who has a rare combination of speed and physicality. She can attack the basket and finishes well in the paint and is a tough defender.   [player_tooltip player_id='594208' first='Bailey' last='Hansen'] - Centerville - 5'9" - F/C   Hansen is one of the best rebounders in the state. She reads the ball off the rim impresslvely and has a great feel for the game inside the paint. Strong, athletic, and a desire to defend and rebound make her a great asset in the paint.   [player_tooltip player_id='594214' first='Estelle' last='Lee'] - Viborg/Hurley - 5'6" - G   Estelle is an undervalued asset for the Number 1 in Class B Cougars. She has a great 3 point shot and runs the floor well in transition.   [player_tooltip player_id='594229' first='Kamryn' last='Anderson'] - Warner - 5'10" - F   Kamryn has great footwork in the post and finishes well around the basket. She is a solid rebounder and disrupts shots at the rim on the defensive end.   [player_tooltip player_id='594228' first='Tyler' last='Simon'] - Potter County - 5'10" - G/F   Simon is a true Battler. She is great in transition and can score off the dribble with effective moves to get to the rim. She can knock down the three as well and does a great job getting to her spots to score. Pair all of this with a 5'10" frame as a guard and you have a really intriguing prospect.   [player_tooltip player_id='594252' first='Janae' last='Olson'] - Parker - 5'10" - F   Janae is a really sound prospect with great length and athleticism. She's 5'10", has speed and athleticism, and plays the game physically. She's a diverse scorer who can hit from outside but also muscle up in the paint and score in traffic.   [player_tooltip player_id='594235' first='Adisyn' last='Indahl'] - Burke - 5'7" - G   With a solid shot from deep, guard handles, forward length, and a high IQ, Adisyn is a talented prospect. She is a really athletic forward with a polished skill-set.   [player_tooltip player_id='594230' first='Skyla' last='Petersen'] - Deubrook - 5'10" - F/C   Skyla does some really nice things in the paint for the Dolphins and is a very active defender who changes the game on that end. Her offensive game has improved and she has helped her squad finish the regular season strong in their first 20 games.   [player_tooltip player_id='594232' first='Reese' last='Hunsucker'] - Harding County - 5'4" - G/F   Only 5'4" but Reese is a spark for her team. She can attack the basket, pushes the ball in transition well, and gets after her opponent in a 1 to 1 setting.   [player_tooltip player_id='594234' first='Elly' last='Witt'] - Burke - 5'3" - G   Elly is a hard-working, high-IQ point guard that plays the game with a perfect blend of passion and composure. She is a leader on the floor and shows great competitive desire.   [player_tooltip player_id='594254' first='Alicia' last='Vig'] - Clark/Willow Lake - 5'6" - G   Vig has a smooth rhythmic dip of the basketball and a quick release that makes her a very effective three-point shooter. On defense she works hard and is active, averaging a few steals per contest.   [player_tooltip player_id='594255' first='Karlie' last='Goergen'] - Hanson - 5'6" - G   Karlie has length, foot speed, and a nice jump shot on the other end. She doesn't jump out on her team but she is surrounded by really talented players.   [player_tooltip player_id='594256' first='Tawny' last='Rodriguez'] - Lakota Tech - 5'9" - F   A natural scorer Tawny can attack the basket, hit shots, and spaces the floor extremely effectively. She has a great competitive mindset and gets after it at both ends. Combine the mentality with a 5'9" frame and you have a player here who can project to the next level. She is a really talented defender who can block shots and help her team get stops.   [player_tooltip player_id='594213' first='Calleigh' last='Chicoine'] - Sully Buttes - 5'5" - G   Chicoine is a talented scorer who helps her team not only on that end but at the other as well. She plays with intensity and fits the mold of the Chargers philosophy.   [player_tooltip player_id='594233' first='Ava' last='Mousel'] - Colman-Egan - 5'6" - G/F   Ava is a bit undersized for a G/F but she plays with great tenacity and hustles on both ends. She is a great attacker of the basket and can beat her matchup off the dribble. A smart player she makes positive plays consistently that help her team win.   [player_tooltip player_id='594231' first='Brooke' last='Koppatschek'] - Deubrook - 5'5" - G   Brooke has a smooth, quick trigger with a left-handed three point shot. She can heat up and hit consisstently from downtown. She has quick hands defensively as well and can pressure the ball effectively and turn teams over.   [player_tooltip player_id='537706' first='Jenna' last='Vitek'] - Scotland - 5'8" - F   Jenna is a great defender who uses a combination of length and speed to guard a large variety of talented athletes. She has a competitive desire and plays with a passion for the game. On offense, she can attack the rim and is a solid option off the drive and in the mid-range.   [player_tooltip player_id='537773' first='Avianna' last='Garcia'] - Pine Ridge - 6'0" - C   A rare find at times is a true six-foot center who can disrupt shots and finish in the paint and that is exactly what Garcia can do. She is intense and affects the game on both ends.   [player_tooltip player_id='537774' first='Sienna' last='Lebeaux'] - Little Wound - 5'5" - G   A little undersized but a very fierce competitor Lebeaux is fun to watch. She can hit shots, runs the floor well, and gets after her matchup on defense.   [player_tooltip player_id='594217' first='Rylee' last='Rudebusch'] - Howard - 5'7" - G/F   Rylee is a really talented 3-point shooter who can light it up. She also possesses a high IQ and is very fundamentally sound at guard.   [player_tooltip player_id='537779' first='Tristiana' last='Brewer'] - Pine Ridge - 6'1" - F   Tristiana is a talented scorer and rebounder. At 6'1" and athletic she does a lot of things well to help her team. She's a double-double machine and a high volume scorer when she's on.   [player_tooltip player_id='594236' first='Hawk' last='Bair'] - Marty - 5'6" - G   Hawk plays with a love and passion for the game. She is a solid leader for the Lady Braves and encourages her team to be better. If you give her an inch she knocks down the three at will and can really get going from the outside.   [player_tooltip player_id='594237' first='Jada' last='Koerner'] - Freeman Academy/Marion - 5'9" - F   Impressive length paired with aggression, Jada is a scoring threat on the drive, posting up, and shooting. She is a diverse talent who works really hard on defense.   [player_tooltip player_id='537820' first='Ella' last='Serck'] - Alcester-Hudson - 5'5" - G   Ella is a worker! Don't let her size fool you she is as tough as nails and never gives up on a play. She's a fantastic rebounding guard and snags a ton of extra possions fo her offense.   [player_tooltip player_id='594223' first='Maya' last='Heinitz'] - Dell Rapids St. Mary's - 5'7" - G   Heinitz is a hard-working guard/forward who takes great shots and can often defend the other team's best. She has length and plays the game with great tempo and decision-making.   [player_tooltip player_id='557228' first='Mackenzie' last='Meyer'] - Centerville - 5'5" - G   Mackenzie is an aggressiv guard. On defense, she pressures the ball well, rotates efficiently and can defend taller guards with her toughness and aiblity to play physically. On offense she attack the rim well and is very effective off the dribble drive.   [player_tooltip player_id='537793' first='Hannah' last='Stremick'] - Tripp-Delmont/Armour - 5'9" - G   Stremich runs the point guard often for her squad and does a nice job of operating their offense. On the defensive end she has good foot speed and is able to pressure the ball without getting beat to the basket.   [player_tooltip player_id='537901' first='Miranda' last='Moravetz'] - Deubrook - 5'6" - G   Miranda does a lot of the little things that it takes to help a team win basketball games. She is a willing rebounder, a super active defender who can snag 5-6 steals per outing, and gives great effort game in and game out.   [player_tooltip player_id='537925' first='Katelyn' last='Klitzke'] - Florence-Henry - 5'8" - G/F   Klitzke is on a really good Falcons team that looks poised to make a deep run in Class A. She is helping her squad on both ends with fundamentally sound defense, great shot selection, and overall high IQ basketball to make her team better.   [player_tooltip player_id='537928' first='Taylor' last='Byerley'] - Lakota Tech - 5'9" - F   A tough-nosed defender who can guard other people's best, Byerley plays the game with a lot of drive and is helping Lakota Tech have a fantastic season. At 5'9" and with speed she poses a defender who can gaurd other people's 1-5 and does it well.   [player_tooltip player_id='555583' first='Joselin' last='Kludt'] - Winner - 5'5" - G   A left-handed point guard, Kludt can hit the three, shows off great vision operating the offense, and has really quick reactions defensively coming up with a lot of steals and deflections.   [player_tooltip player_id='261381' first='Kira' last='Mentele'] - O'Gorman - 6'1" - F   A shot blocking machine Kira swats around 3-4 blocks per game often. She is an athletic 6'1" athlete that changes the whole gameplan on defense for her opponent. On offense she can attack the rim and does a nice job finding her spots to score in the paint. She runs the floor and finishes well in transition and creates turnovers on the defensive end with great anticiaption and reaction.
