<p>As the district play ends for the public school sector, the first round and quarterfinals for the private school sector begins. This year has been exciting for the game of basketball around the state. Some programs have come out of nowhere, breaking through, changing their trajectory on course towards being a Cinderella story. Some programs have continued to dominate, creating a legacy that may one day never be touched. Overall, this has been a tremendous year of basketball in the private schools sector, though the best has yet to come.</p>

<p>Tonight as the first round tips off for, PGH Tennessee would like to just highlight some players for you all to watch. These girls have done a phenomenal job throughout the course of the season, displaying heart, tenacity and of course, doing their thing on the hardwood floor. Each of these young ladies have brought something special to the table, and their talents will be on full display as they help lead their team towards state contention. Keep an eye out on these ladies who look to help their club punch their ticket onto the next round.</p>

<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='399926' first='Emmie' last='Moore'] (Sr./ PF/ Fayette Academy)</strong>- Tough hard-nosed kid who gets after it. Leading catalyst for her club in points and rebounds. Overall, solid kid who brings poise and energy to the floor nightly.</p>

<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='245292' first='Jailyn' last='Banks'] (Sr./CG/MTCS)</strong>- Dynamic kid whose known as a finisher. Multi-level scoring threat who is a beast on both ends of the floor. Belmont University commit who uses her ability to attack to exploit other team's weaknesses.</p>

<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='285361' first='Trinity' last='Fields'] (Sr./G/ Brentwood Academy)</strong>- Fierce competitor who can knife through defenses on her way to the rim. Two-way player who loves to create chaos on the defensive end. UNC Asheville commit, plans to lead her ball club back to state contention.</p>

<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='405709' first='Daisy' last='Gale'] (Jr./G/ PCA)</strong>- “Go-Getter” a lunch pail kind of girl who just gets after it. Does the dirty things to help her club excel. 3 level scoring threat who consistently contributes on the boards as well as the defensive end.</p>

<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='513227' first='Meeyah' last='Green'] (Fr./G/ Knox-Webb)</strong>- Sensational freshman guard who is a beast. Can score it from anywhere on the floor, but isn't afraid to get down hill and finish against contact. The leading catalyst for her ball club, she's a lockdown defender that creates extra possessions and transitional buckets for her team.</p>

<p><strong>Haylen Ayers (8th Grade/G/ USJ)</strong>- Stud middle schooler who has ascended greatly this season. Has held her own against older competition. 3 level scoring threat who is phenomenal with the ball in her hands. She's a beast and basketball is definitely a platform that she will excel on for years to come.</p>

<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='405712' first='Kelsie' last='Johnson'] (Jr./G/ Silverdale Academy)</strong>- Strong willed guard who gets to the rim. Has a nice jumper that can accompany her ability to get to the painted area. A do it all kind of player for the club, she's the heartbeat of the program.</p>

<p><strong>Arin Nipp (Sr./F/ Father Ryan)</strong>- Tough kid who is a player. Contributes in multiple ways on both ends of the floor. From knocking down clutch shots, grabbing boards, to defending, her ability to compete and provide senior leadership is always on display.</p>

<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='496304' first='Daejah' last='Richmond'] (Sr./G/ FACS)</strong>- she's an old school junkyard dog who loves to compete. She's a go-getter, scoring buckets on buckets. Has the ability to get to the rim, leaving defenders behind. Competes on both ends of the floor. The SEMO commit is something special to watch.</p>

<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='399973' first='Ava' last='Pomeroy'] (Sr./G/ Nashville Christian)</strong>- Solid contributor to the Lady Eagles attack, defends, makes timely assists, and solid knocking down shots from multiple spots on the floor. Uses her speed to create opportunities for herself and others.</p>

<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='375747' first='Natalie' last='Bryant'] (Sr./G/ St. Agnes)</strong>- Solid kid who is a gamer. A walking double-double, she prides herself doing the little things that will help her club finish on top. Finds the bottom of the net consistently, she's active on the boards on both ends of the floor.</p>

Can score it, create opportunities for teammates, and play on the defensive end. Heady player who is an extension of the coaching staff on the floor.</p>
