Sall is a terrific addition to this class’ ranked players. Defense is the name of the game for her. She stays incredibly active around the rim on defense, sliding over easily to help and protecting the rim. Sall does a really nice job playing the passing lanes and picking up deflections and steals.
Ridderman proved herself this season, especially in an impressive post season. She was definitely a part of her team’s menacing defense. Ridderman also had the look of a go-to scorer for Kalamazoo Hackett. She provided a legit off the ball scorer and picked up some very big buckets.
Kangas played in a pretty fast paced offense and did a nice job handling the ball. She got the ball down the floor, in a hurry but still efficiently. Kangas was very unselfish and never wavered in getting the ball to open shooters. She could fill it up herself, but demonstrated solid recognition of good shots.
What great timing for this one! On the day she sees her name in the prospect rankings, she goes off for an 18 point and 12 rebound double-double in the state semifinals. That’s a nice day if I do say so myself. Bradford is a warrior in the paint and if she plays like that on Saturday, she’ll be a ranked state champion.
Dykstra has more than proven that she belongs on this list. There’s a lot to like about her game. She moves well and with ease without the ball. Dykstra is a true multi level scorer. I like her creativity and body control in her finishes. Dykstra uses a jump stop nicely on her dribble drive and uses the step through to score in traffic.
