Jaida Civil Jaida Civil 5'11" | PG Palm Bay | 2025 State FL / 5’11 SG, SF / Vero Beach
Civil was the most athletic player on the court and when a spectacular play was made, it was usually made by Civil. She does stuff that makes you say “wow.” She pushes the ball in transition like none else. She has a very good midrange game and can also knock it down from behind the arc. She is at her best in transition and has the ability to get up and down the court at a lightning pace. Civil can get to the rim, draw contact and get to the foul line. During the showcase, Civil had a step-back three and a spin-fade-away jumper on the baseline that were head-scratchers. Defensively, Civil can defend four positions on defense and can play on the inside and outside on offense. She is one of the top athletes and players in the state of Florida in any class.
Tykiria Benjamin / 5’6 PG, SG / Centennial
Benjamin was a standout of standouts at the showcase. She is one smooth player whose athleticism is off the charts. At the showcase, Benjamin had some really nice drives and finishes. When she wasn’t converting the basket she was drawing fouls and getting to the free-throw line. Benjamin’s athleticism really stood out in the open court. She got up and down the court with blazing speed. She also had an explosive vertical jump and a lightening quick first step. Benjamin was also a very good on-ball defender who really harassed the opposition. All of these skills were on display and Benjamin she was one of the best players in the building. Benjamin is primed to light it up this upcoming AAU season.
Lamiyah Hogans Lamiyah Hogans 5'10" | CG San Jose Prep | 2025 State FL / 5’10 SG, SF / San Jose Prep
During the showcase, it seemed like when there was a fast break opportunity, Hogans was in the middle of the play. She was impressive receiving the pass on the outlet and heading downhill to the basket. Hogans had some nice baskets in transition and got to the free-throw line throughout the game. Hogans is an aggressive offensive player who connected on several long-range shots. She can shoot the long ball and with her length, she can get in the paint and shoot over the bigs.
Destiny Donaldson Destiny Donaldson 5'9" | SF Ribault | 2025 State FL /5’10 SF / Ribault
Donaldson (cover photo ) is a versatile offensive player who can shoot from all areas on the court. She is a three-level scorer and she does a great of using her length to score in the paint. Donaldson has a relentless pursuit of the ball and doesn’t give up on a play. She is very good at getting putbacks after offensive rebounds. In the showcase, Donaldson ran the floor well, defended well, finished well, and rebounded well. Defensively, Donaldson showed a lot of versatility, defending on the wings and also defending in the paint. Donaldson is one of the most versatile players in the 2025 class.
Phantasia Lauriston Phantasia Lauriston 5'8" | CG Palm Bay | 2025 State FL / 5’8 SG / Viera
Lauriston was very impressive in the showcase and did a good job of letting the game come to her. Lauriston can play the point and the shooting guard positions. Lauriston had some nice drives to the basket, played well on the offensive end and was very impressive rebounding from the guard position. Lauriston does a good job of keeping her head up and advancing the ball up the court with the pass. Lauriston made some nice passes to cutting teammates. She is a versatile and selfless player. She is poised to open eyes during the upcoming travel season.
