The University of Arkansas signee bursted onto the Final Four scene going off for a game-high 47 points on 11 made 3-pointers in their semifinal game. Scott was also a perfect 8-for-8 from the free throw line. The 5-8 senior shooting guard led the state in scoring, averaging 35.8 points per game this season.
The 6-1 sophomore guard has gotten offers from Arkansas, Arizona State, Mississippi State and Yale so far during her young recruitment process. In the semifinal game vs St. John’s Country Day, Harris finished with a team-high 35 points and 8 rebounds. She followed up with a 15 point performance to help lead her team to the program’s first state title in school history.
Highlights
The 6-1 sophomore forward finished with a double-double (17 points and 14 rebounds) in their semifinal game against St. John’s Country Day. In the championship game, Kitts finished with 10 points, 10 rebounds and 3 blocked shots to help lift Faith Christian to their first state title in school history. She was very impactful on both ends of the floor, as well as defending multiple positions.
The 6-1 junior small forward played a modern-style basketball throughout the semifinal and championship games, showing that she can play an inside-out game. In the semifinal game against St. John’s Country Day, Barnes finished with 14 points and 9 rebounds. However, in the championship game she finished with just 8 points and shot 4-of-14 from the field.
The 6-1 junior small forward showed that she is one of the most prolific scorers in the state, finishing with a game-high 24 points in their semifinal win over Evangelical Christian. She also added 19 points, 14 rebounds and 5 blocks in the championship game against Faith Christian where her versatility was used outside of the paint. Look for her recruitment to heat up as we gear into the spring and summer.
