Betts is nothing short of spectacular on both ends, recently solidifying Grandview’s title aspirations for 6A. The roughly 6’5 sophomore forward is a constant threat in the mid-post, elite getting to her turnaround fadeaway or spinning towards the rim. She is all too much for any frontcourt to slow her down within Colorado, currently sitting atop the 2025 national rankings.
Elizabeth Gentry Elizabeth Gentry 6'2" | PF Arapahoe | 2024 State CO – Arapahoe – 2024
Although not getting many eyes on Gentry, she is certainly among the most talented frontcourt prospects in the state, sitting atop the state’s 2024 class. She is a constant double double threat and has great touch going for putbacks with either hand. Her progression as a downhill ballhandler will be an especially intriguing given her baseline of strength at 6’3.
Brooklyn Stewart Brooklyn Stewart 6'2" | SF Pine Creek | 2025 State CO – Pine Creek – 2025
Stewart possesses wide reach at 6’2, allowing her to be an impressive help defender. The sophomore forward may be deployed in or out of the paint, providing a versatile skill set that may be molded to whichever lineup.
Gianna Smith Gianna Smith 5'9" | CG Arapahoe | 2025 State CO – Arapahoe – 2025
Smith is an especially talented scorer on all three levels. The 5’9 lead guard is a scoring threat from anywhere with the ball, possessing an elite floater and equally dangerous pull-up game. Smith showed an increased volume of deep three point attempts this season, an intriguing wrinkle in her offensive upside. One area of intrigue will be Smith’s passing numbers on the year.
Damara Allen – Cherokee Trail – 2024
Allen has been steady throughout the beginning of the offseason, building upon her two-way skillset. Already a valuable scorer off the dribble, the junior guard is dangerous getting into the paint or stepping into the pull-up jumper. At 5’10, Allen is an excellent point of attack defender who matches up with both backcourt positions.
Rylie Beers Rylie Beers 5'10" | CG Valor Christian | 2025 State CO – Valor Christian – 2025
Beers is a high impact guard who is a versatile defender doing a lot to influence winning within her niche offensive role on Valor Christian. Beers stands at roughly 5’10, combined with her quick first step most opponents are left in the dust attempting to close her out. She does a great job anticipating movement on both ends, especially through her instincts on defensive rotations. Simply put, the guard adds value wherever possible.
Quinn Vansickle – Valor Christian – 2025
Vansickle has been a lights out shooter for quite some time, playing a valuable role in spacing the floor. Should opponents overplay her, she has a variety of combo moves to create extra space while driving downhill. Her progression as a point of attack defender will be important this summer, although the guard has a bright future on her hands, already dependable reading passing lanes.
Emma Lytle Emma Lytle 5'8" | CG Valor Christian | 2024 State CO – Valor Christian – 2024
Lytle is a calm and collected guard who makes the most of what the opposing defense allows. She is a dependable shooter off the catch, contributing 35% of three point attempts this season. Going into her senior year, Lytle brings pedigree as a high IQ player, whether that be attacking passing lanes or finding open cutters.
