20.9 PPG, 9.9 RPG, 2.2 SPG, 52% 2P, 91% FT
Highly productive in the paint, Gentry has gotten a living at line, seeking out contact time and time again. Her 64 made free throws account for 34% of her total points, and roughly 57% of Arapahoe’s total free throws. Not just a rebounder, Gentry has made a living playing fundamental interior defense, stunting driving lanes through her positioning alone.

Gentry is back and ready to pick up where she left off from in 2021, after sitting out last season due to transferring. The Creighton commit has been an anchor on both ends of the floor for Arapahoe during the summer and coming into the season. Her high IQ and endless motor give her an edge over opponents when it comes to crashing the glass and fighting for 50/50 balls. Offensively she has fit in nicely being that is very mobile and can run with the guards in transition.

Especially assertive in the paint, Gentry could not be stopped grabbing offensive rebounds and drawing fouls. She grabbed plenty of free throws, proving efficient from the line. She drew a few fouls from rolls towards the rim, getting deep into the paint from entry passes. There was little Regis Jesuit could do to slow her down on the glass, getting wherever she wanted.

It’s been great to see Elizabeth Gentry Elizabeth Gentry 6'2" | PF Arapahoe | 2024 State CO back on the court and making a difference after having to sit out last season. She’s come into Grassroots season with a chip on her shoulder and eager to remind everybody what she is about. So far that’s exactly what she has done. She’s dominated the post on both ends of the floor using her size and length to finish over and through contact on the block. Elizabeth has also looked comfortable on the wing, putting the ball on the floor a getting to the rim.

The 6-3 athletic post prospect has already had D1 offers piling in, and is PGH Colorado’s #1 2024 prospect, as it stands. A few offers include Stetson University, Army West Point, and Davidson College. Her athleticism, movement, and constant motor really stand out on the court. She flies all over the court, and with a purpose. 11.6 ppg. and 8.0 rpg. in her Sophomore campaign. She should be a highly-coveted prospect because you know she’s going to work hard and give effort on the court, all the time. 6-3 and athletic doesn’t hurt either.
