Most of the Class of 2024 have finalized their junior seasons and will head into their last offseason before getting back with their squads for their final year. Here are some new names that cracked our class of prospects and a quick profile of their skills!

[player_tooltip player_id='606332' first='Gracie' last='Oakley']- Parkston - 5'7" - G

Oakley is a tough-nosed defender who often guards people's best. She's a physical guard who anticipates well defensively, pressures her opponent, and rebounds effectively. On offense, she can attack the rim and finishes well in the paint. Her outside shooting game is improving and she will look to be a balanced scorer going into her senior season.

[player_tooltip player_id='609286' first='Laura' last='Sumption'] - Leola-Frederick - 5'8" - G

Laura is a talented scorer who can put up double-digit point values each night. She can hit from the outside and attacks the power alley well to get to the rim and finish. She's a high energy player who gets after it on both ends and plays the game with intensity.

[player_tooltip player_id='606338' first='Jayna' last='Handel'] - Chamberlain - 5'8" - G

Handel is a talented guard who has made a lot of improvements and looks set for a big senior season. She has great range and can hit from a few feet beyond the arc. On defense she gets after it grabbing steals, hitting the floor for loose balls, and positioning herself where she needs to be to help her team get stops.

[player_tooltip player_id='606337' first='Jurni' last='Vavruska'] - Bon Homme - 5'5" - G

Vavruska has been playing big minutes at the high school level from a young age. She's aggressive, handles the ball with fundamental skill, and finds ways to get to her spots to score. She has a great first step and can get to the rim effectively off the drive. She has a great rhythmic dip of the ball, a high arcing follow-through, and a quick release that makes her a great outside shooter. On defense she plays in the passing lanes well and runs the floor off of turnovers effectively to convert turnovers to points.

[player_tooltip player_id='606336' first='Erin' last='Heusinkveld']- Bon Homme - 5'8" - F

Jurni's teammate Erin creates for a very effective duo for the Cavaliers. Erin has great length, athleticism and a high basketball IQ. She's an aggressive rebounder who reads the ball off the rim well and isn't afraid to go and get it. On defense she's an underrated shot blocker and creates a lot of turnovers for her opponent as well. Add in her effectivness scoring from all areas of the floor and you have one of the more underrated double-double capable players in Class B.

[player_tooltip player_id='606339' first='Katie' last='Bialas'] - Parker - 6'1" - C

Katie is a shot-blocking machine. She makes scoring in the paint tough for her opponent and is capable of swatting 5 or more shot attempts per game. She's extremely long and understands how to alter shots without fouling around the paint. Her rebounding game is solid and she is developing a game in the paint on the offensive end as well. Keep your eye on Bialas as she gets another year of varsity experience under her belt as a senior.

[player_tooltip player_id='609283' first='Presley' last='Knecht'] - Castlewood - 5'10" - F

Presley has everything you look for when initially analyzing talent. She's long, athletic, understands the game, and plays with aggression. On defense she can block shots and steal passes with her length and high IQ. On offense she spaces the floor well and can knock down the three.

[player_tooltip player_id='606330' first='Chloe' last='Langager'] - Sisseton - 6'1" - C

Langager is a physical post player who positively impacts the game on both ends. On offense she positions herself well for offensive boards and uses her strength and smarts to score around the basket. On defense she's a force who can alter shots near the basket and grab boards.

[player_tooltip player_id='609284' first='Carissa' last='Scheel'] - Wessington Springs - 6'0" - F

Scheel has the desired combination of length and athleticism. She's six feet tall, moves well, and can score inside and out. Averagin over 11 points and 6 rebounds per game on the year, Scheel is a talented player to keep your eye on next year as she embarks on her final season.

[player_tooltip player_id='554108' first='Brylee' last='Grubb'] - Spearfish - 5'8" - G

Brylee is a scrappy defender who is capable of contributing 4 or 5 steals per outing. She anticipates well, reads the floor, and plays aggressively. On the other end she has a nice quick step to the rim and is developing her offensive game.

[player_tooltip player_id='606335' first='Cici' last='Watson'] - Winner - 5'8" - F

Cici is developing as she gets more minutes in the Warriors program. She's a tough-nosed guard who plays with aggression. Combine that with the fact that she is a consistent 3 point maker and you have a prospect to keep your eye on as she enters her senior season at Winner.

[player_tooltip player_id='554109' first='Maria' last='Bouman'] - Spearfish - 6'0" - F/C

Bouman has a nice frame, solid drive, and the ability to change the game with her length and aggression. Her offensive game is developing but what helps her crack the list is her rebounding ability and incredible defensive play. She is a 3 steal and 3 block or more per contest type of player which makes her a menace for the opponent.

[player_tooltip player_id='606340' first='Parker' last='Lessman'] - Parker- 5'6" - G

Parker runs the point for the Parker Pheasants. She handles the ball with a variety of moves, can hit the three, and is a scrappy defender who pressures the ball.

[player_tooltip player_id='606331' first='Mataya' last='Ward'] - Belle Fourche - 5'11" - F

Mataya is an aggressive player who is a lot of fun to watch. She makes a ton of hustle plays, snags steals, blocks shots and plays the game with a relentless motor. She does a lot of the little things that contribute to team's winning basketball games.

[player_tooltip player_id='606333' first='Reagan' last='Weisbeck'] - Mobridge-Pollack - 5'4" - G

Only 5'4" but Reagan is a tough-nosed guard with an impressive competitive mindset and skill to go with it. She can hit the three with a quick release and has a nice set of ball handling skills to go with shooting. She rebounds hard for her size and position and shows up for her team in every category.

[player_tooltip player_id='606334' first='Leila' last='Balsiger']- Winner - 5'6" - G

Leila is a hard-working guard for the Warriors. She's active on defense, plays with aggression, and demonstrates solid basketball knowledge. She appears to be improving as she heads into her senior season, which isn't always the case at that juncture of a player's career.

[player_tooltip player_id='603390' first='Kiylee' last='Westra'] - Centerville- 5'9" - C

Kiylee is a physical post player who can score with her back to the basket. She is capable of hitting shots out to the mid-range and appears to only be improving offensively. Her greatest talent is rebounding desire and smarts. She positions herself with a high IQ and physically boxes out on both ends in order to get boards for her team.

[player_tooltip player_id='609285' first='Jacey' last='Kemp'] - Corsica-Stickney - 5'9" - F

Jacey is athletic and uses her 5'9" frame well to find openings to attack and get shots up around the basket. On defense she plays hard and helps her team get stops with fundamental skill and IQ. Playing on a team who has bounced in and out around the state tournament, she has gained a lot of confidence and skill with the Jaguars.

[player_tooltip player_id='609287' first='Sarah' last='Ebert'] - Alcester-Hudson - 5'8" - F

Ebert has range out to the high post and can catch and score in the high post area. She's physical on the inside and can get looks at the rim as well with paint touches. She rebounds hard on both ends and uses her frame to keep her opponent away from the rim.
