Sarah Chrapliwy did a nice job running the floor being ready for the pass on a fast break. She drew her defenders to her protecting the ball, and was able to make a nice wrap around bounce pass to her teammate for some points. Her aggressiveness on defense was effective getting the turnover to take the other direction.
Jordyn Latter has some nice hesitation moves that she uses to draw her defenders, open up the lanes, and blow by them attacking the basket battling contact. She followed shots going up for rebounds, and she did a nice job knocking the ball away from her opponents as they tried to dribble around her. She protects her possessions with her nice handles.
Aliyah Corpening had a nice jab step to get open and pull up for three pointers. She stripped the ball from her opponents and took it all the way to the other end earning some free throw shots. She is quick with the ball exploding to the hoop making some shots at the rim.
Mckenzie Taylor showed off her range shooting the ball. She did a nice job finding her open teammates running up the court on fast breaks getting them the long pass and the assist for her stat sheet. She has always been a pesky defender stripping the ball from her opponents and pushing it up the court.
Katie Alexander continues to show her hustle on both ends of the court getting the pass and bucket on a fast break. She sees the floor well finding her open teammates underneath the basket. She had a tough stretch grabbing a steal and pushing the ball the other direction finding her open teammate and turning around to get the rebound and do that on repeat.
Jada Steele showed why she is dominant in the paint getting rebounds for her team ending the possession for her opponents. She made sure to score off offensive rebounds battling some tough contact to get the boards. Her ability to roll well from the free throw line opened up the lane for her to catch the pass and score some points.
Ja’Kea Brunson showed off her range shooting the ball. She was doing all the little things for her team, too, sliding into help on defense, setting effective screens, and making some nice passes into her teammates. She knows how to read her opponents’ offense as she grabs the steal to take the other direction.
Hannah Sorrentino is relentless stopping at nothing to come up with loose balls. She has great court awareness knowing when to drive the ball all the way to the hoop or pull up for her jumper. She didn’t let contact deter her from attacking the basket.
