With the 2022-2023 IHSAA girls' basketball season in the rearview mirror, and with the all-state awards for each classification having been handed out, I wanted to finish highlighting several ladies from different areas of the state. Below is a look at a handful of ladies who stood out during the 2022-2023 season in Western Indiana.

[player_tooltip player_id='206425' first='Gloria' last='Brewer'], 2023, 5-7 G, Greencastle H.S.
- Gloria lit up the scoreboards in Western Indiana this Winter, and she was the recipient of a couple of awards in our Class 3A breakdown a few days back. She has a strong grasp of the game, a tremendous skillset, and she's able to fit in and play whatever role needed for her team to be successful. To the best of my knowledge, she remains one of the top uncommitted 2023s in Indiana.

[player_tooltip player_id='178240' first='Audri' last='Spencer'], 2023, 5-6 W, Northview H.S.
- Audri is another player who performs with a high level of skill. She takes care of the basketball, gets it where it needs to go, and she can thread the needle on occasion. She's a strong downhill attacker, plus she has a little touch around the perimeter. She was a four-year starter for Northview, with a career average of 12.7 ppg, including a career-best of 16.8 ppg this season as a Senior.

Taylor Abston, 2024, 5-10 F/C, Crawfordsville H.S.
- Taylor had a strong season for the Lady Athenians, averaging nearly a double-double at 12.1 ppg and 9.0 rpg. She has a long, wiry-strong, and fairly athletic frame, plus she tends to outwork most of her opponents. This year, she expanded her game a little, showing the ability to step out and knock down the occasional 3-pointer. I think long-term she could be a nice small college face-up '4'.

Delorean Mason, 2024, 5-4 G, Southmont H.S.
- Delorean recently popped up on my radar, primarily due to her strong play this Winter. She led Southmont in both scoring (13.7 ppg) and steals (6.2 spg) this season, plus she showed the ability to score the ball at all three levels. The 5-4 combo guard is extremely long for her height, she possesses speed & quickness, and she's somewhat bouncy and very active at both ends of the floor.

[player_tooltip player_id='366798' first='Jalyn' last='Davidson'], 2025, 5-9 W, North Central H.S. (Farmersburg)
- Jalyn began her career with a strong rookie campaign, and she continued with a strong Sophomore season. She is a long, fluid, fairly athletic scorer who can make shots at all three levels. After averaging 14.1 ppg last year, Jalyn scored 17.1 ppg this year, and she has already totaled 795 points through 51 games. As she continues to improve her touch from the perimeter, watch out.

[player_tooltip player_id='506018' first='Emma' last='Simpson'], 2025, 5-7 PG, Parke Heritage H.S.
- Emma is one of the state's better 2025 prospects few people know about. She is an athletic lead guard with the ability to do just about anything she wants. Yes, she averaged 20.0 ppg for Parke Heritage this Winter, however, she is a selfless lead guard who can create offense and find open teammates in positions to score. With another year under her belt, I am anxious to see her this Spring.

Aubrie Lambermont, 2026, 5-7 F, Shakamak H.S.
- Aubrie saw a great deal of playing time as a Freshman on such a young team, so she spent the year adapting to the speed and size of a Varsity game. With that said, she was one of the Lady Lakers top scorers and their top rebounder this season. At just 5-7, Aubrie managed a team-high 5.2 rpg, to go along with 6.7 ppg, but she also showed the ability to knock down the 3-pointer (24-68, 35%).

[player_tooltip player_id='486472' first='Reagin' last='White'], 2026, 5-4 PG, Northview H.S.
- I was able to see Reagin a couple of times last Spring, and she showed quite a bit of feistiness, skill, and ability. It's to no surprise that she was one of the Lady Knights' top players this Winter. With Senior [player_tooltip player_id='178240' first='Audri' last='Spencer'] (above) drawing a lot of attention, Reagin was able to handle pressure a little easier. She chipped in with 8.1 ppg, 3.7 rpg, and 3.0 apg, and she should be a bigger part of their future.
