The annual War Games hosted by Ball So Hard Events featured some really talented 5th-8th grade girls programs. Teams came in from various states to prepare for the upcoming travel season. Let's take a look at a few players that stood out.

Caroline Bradley | Post | AR Mavs Elite 2027

When you mention players that have a TON of potential you have to mention Caroline Bradley. Standing around 6'3 Caroline is a tough post player that is strong and physical player. The high ceiling post player has caught the eye of several division 1 teams and holds a few offers despite only playing a few years. This means she is only going to get better and continue to be a nightmare for her opponents. During War Games Caroline does a really good job of posting up big and wide on the low block. She has soft hands in traffic and can finish over the top her defender. She's a good rebounder, a really good help defender, plays under control, and has some finesse in her game with a nice turn around jumper from the block.

[player_tooltip player_id='1093289' first='Miciah' last='Fusilier'] | Wing | AR Mavs Elite 2027

When you talk about some of the top players in the country for the class of 2027 you have to mention Miciah. The 6'2 wing player can get shifty off the dribble, get into the mid-range, she shoots the three, and can create plays off the dribble. She can be a nightmare matchup on the perimeter with her size. She can easily see over the defense to see plays develop or can attack bigger defenders if she guarded by someone with size. Miciah is considered by many as one of the best players in the nation in the class of 2027. College offers are already rolling in with more many more to come.

A'Sharia Simmons | Forward | AR Mavs Elite 2028

A‘Sharia is actually just in the 6th grade, but plays up on the Mavs Elite 2028 squad. I'm going to go out on a limb and say A'Sharia is the most versatile player I have seen in the Arkansas class of 2029. She can defend any position on the floor, handles the ball in transition, can get to the rim off the dribble, has a nice touch around the rim, plays with good pace, rebounds well, and is a good help defender. A'Sharia is definitely trending in the right direction and the sky is the limit for her.

Jakiya Peterman | Point Guard | MO Phenom (STL) 2028

I love scouting point guards and Jakiya was a point guard that caught my attention quickly. Jakiya has a nice handle on the skills needed to be an effective point guard. She can breakdown her defender off the dribble and get in the paint to make plays, she could shoot the three, make plays for others, and displayed good footwork and balance on her finishes. Jakiya is in the class of 2028 and will continue to develop and add skills to her game. Wit her ability to run a team and do the things she able to do on the court, she will definitely be a name to know.

Addison Evans | Post | Swaggin' Dragons | 2027

I love players that will play hard on both ends of the floor. Addison is player that doesn't seem to play for clout or points or even to try impress anyone on the sideline. She plays to win. On offense she can play on the low block or mid post. She has a soft touch around the rim, plays through contact, and she fights for offensive rebounds. With her court awareness it puts her in position defensively to help her teammates on drives. She rotates quickly to stop cutters and help on penetration.

[player_tooltip player_id='750683' first='Jordyn' last='Haywood'] | Wing | MO Phenom (STL) 2028

Skilled. Competitor. Smooth. Nice. Those are just a few adjectives that describes Jordyn's game. Just a 7th grader but she has a skill set many high school players wish they had. Jordyn handles the ball well, can shoot the three, finishes in the half court and in transition, and she's a nice passer. When she was matched up against one of the top 8th graders in the nation she showed no fear (fearless is another adjective you could add to the list). She showed her shooting ability out to the three point line, broke down the defense in the half-court, finished in transition, and wasn't afraid to d-up. Jordyn could definitely be a be a name to know by the time she gets into high school.
