About Miciah
Expert Analysis
Brandon Fisher | Prep Girls Hoops Scout
Mimi takes over the top spot in our rankings following a strong stretch that included an early verbal commitment to Baylor in late January. Making the move to IMG this season proved to be a major step forward, as she consistently competed against elite talent while adjusting to the daily workload required at the next level. At 6’4, Fusilier brings a unique blend of size and skill, operating as a long, versatile forward with guard ability. She creates matchup problems with her ability to handle, score, and defend multiple positions, making her an immediate impact prospect at the college level. With the spring and summer ahead, where she’ll suit up with Fam Hoops 3SSB, her trajectory continues to trend upward—solidifying her as the new No. 1 player in Florida’s 2027 class.

Miciah had a nice double pumper reverse layup that she executed while gliding across the lane. She rebounded really well using all of her 6’4″ frame to keep the ball high and away from poking guards. This, however, is about the three ball, which she hit multiple of them from various angles giving her game a level of respect that she needs to be guarded constantly.

Mimi shot the three ball very efficiently with a high-arching stroke. Her height and length give her a clear advantage on both ends of the floor. She has a strong pull-up and can score over nearly any defender. Mimi’s a versatile scorer who stretches the floor and creates matchup problems all game long.

Miciah is smooth as silk with the basketball- it doesn’t matter what she’s doing with it, whether it be draining 3’s from any location, or taking her 6’4 frame + hesitation moves to the rim and putting on a show! She is a sight to see, and its frightening to think Fusilier is only a Junior! Absolute nightmare! We’ll be watching her for a long time on ESPN!

Miciah arrives at IMG from Arkansas and brings a long, athletic frame with her. She’s a nationally ranked prospect who can stretch the floor with her shooting and finish in transition. Her defensive versatility stands out as she can guard multiple positions and protect the rim with solid timing. Offensively, she attacks downhill with confidence and has good footwork that helps her create space and score efficiently.

Fusilier sold me in the 7th grade, not because she was long and athletic, which is the base and already above the magic number, but because she was poised and skilled even then. She scored off the dribble and around the basket, short jumper looked good and so did her rebounding and defense. It was a thrill seeing her come from out of nowhere to block shots

has interest from Division I schools all over the country, making it easy for her to be moved from #2 to #1 in the class.
Fusilier can do just about anything on the floor. On offense, she can score easily inside, using that 6’4″ frame and athleticism to shoot over defenders. She can also extend her range, as she has proven to be a solid mid-range and 3-point shooter.
As expected, she is a phenomenal post defender. Fusilier blocks every shot she sees, sending the ball into the third row without remorse. On the glass, there are few who can successfully box her out as she is an animal in the rebounding category.

Miciah “Mimi” Fusilier has been one of the most well-known players in the Arkansas basketball recruiting scene since she was in middle school. As a 6th grader, she received her first Division I offer from Ole Miss, and she continued to receive offers from SEC schools such as Arkansas and Mississippi State. Most recently, she has received an offer from North Texas. Fusilier has also competed in some of the top camps in the nation, while playing in some of the top AAU circuits. She also participated in the Jr. NBA Showcase in 2023, making plays on both ends of the floor against some of the best young basketball talent in the nation.
So far in her high school career, Fusilier’s play seems to have translated from her time in the AAU circuits. As a freshman and now as a sophomore, she has recorded some impressive statlines, with multiple double-doubles to her name. Fusilier has played well on both sides of the ball, establishing a strong two-way presence for Camden Fairview.
On defense, Fusilier holds down the paint, and as one of the tallest players in the state, she uses her length exactly how she is supposed to. She blocks shots at a high rate, often blocking shots that seem nearly impossible to even put a finger on. A lot of rebounds are out of reach for most players, but they might not be for Fusilier, who can stretch and grab every board in sight.
On offense, Fusilier uses her length and athleticism to her advantage again. Not many players can effectively contest her at the rim, as she can contort her body to get a clean look. She has also shown that she can knock down some jumpshots, and I imagine that will be a major part of her game in the years to come. If that jumper comes along consistently, maybe say a little prayer for every 4A-7 opponent that will face her.

is an elite prospect that is already known around the nation, and there is nothing less than a bright future for her. I bet by the time she is a senior, she might be the most offered player in the entire state.
