Continue Reading1) 5’9 G Destiny Lunan Destiny Lunan 5'9" | PG Millennium | 2025 State AZ (Bella Vista Prep): Lunan is a superstar in the making in the class of 2025. She is shifty with the ball and capable of breaking down her defender at any given point. Lunan excels at playing off the dribble and has an exceptional lefty jumper. Offensively, she is near impossible to stay in front of. Defensively, Lunan has quick hands and creates a ton of deflections. She has great basketball IQ and is super good at jumping passing lanes for steals. Lunan is a division-1 talent with a super high ceiling.
3) 5’7 G Aiyanna Perkins Aiyanna Perkins 5'7" | CG Bella Vista Prep | 2025 State AZ (McClintock): Perkins is one of the best scorers in the state of Arizona and she is only a sophomore. This past season she helped lead her McClintock team to a record of 25-3. Perkins averaged an impressive 23.6pts a game and shooting 54% from the field. Perkins is super talented and I anticipate her game to only get better this off-season.
4) 5’9 G/W Michaela Fairwell Michaela Fairwell 5'10" | SG Dutch Fork | 2025 State SC (Desert Vista): Fairwell is one of the most underrated prospects in the state of Arizona. She can do it all. She can guard the opposing teams best player, score the most points on the floor, lead her team in rebounding and pass exceptionally well. Fairwell is athletic, lengthy and has super high basketball IQ. Fairwell averaged 9pts and 3rbs a game on one of the best teams in the nation in Desert Vista. Fairwell is a division-1 talent and I anticipate her stock to continue to rise this spring playing for Arizona Elite.
5) 5’10 G Olivia Owens Olivia Owens 5'10" | PG Phoenix Country Day | 2025 State AZ (Phoenix Country Day): Olivia Owens Olivia Owens 5'10" | PG Phoenix Country Day | 2025 State AZ is another superstar talent in the class of 2025. She’s an electric do it all point guard that is capable of taking over a game at any given point. Owens lead her Phoenix Country Day team to a state title while averaging 14pts, 8rbs, and 3stls a game. Owens is as electric as they come and is another division-1 talent in the class of 2025.
7) 6’0 F Mackenzie Buckner Mackenzie Buckner 6'0" | PF Bella Vista Prep | 2025 State AZ (Fairfax): Mackenzie Buckner Mackenzie Buckner 6'0" | PF Bella Vista Prep | 2025 State AZ is a unicorn post player in the class of 2025. She can knock down shots from the perimeter, dominate inside and take her defender off the dribble. Defensively, Buckner is an elite rim protector and is exceptional at blocking shots. Buckner averaged 17pts and 10rbs a game during her sophomore campaign. Mackenzie Buckner Mackenzie Buckner 6'0" | PF Bella Vista Prep | 2025 State AZ has a super high ceiling and her stock will continue to rise as one of the best in the state.
14) 5’11 W Alexa Simpson Alexa Simpson 5'11" | SF Saguaro | 2025 State AZ (Saguaro): Alexa Simpson Alexa Simpson 5'11" | SF Saguaro | 2025 State AZ is a quick wing player in the class of 2025. She had an outstanding sophomore season where she averaged 20pts, 7rbs and 4 stls a game. Simpson is best in transition where she is able to explode by her defenders for easy layups. Defensively, Simpson has is quick laterally and is able to get a lot of steals from slower guards. Simpson plays AAU ball for AZ Supreme where her stock will continue to grow this offseason.
