Several Kansas players can be found across their team rosters. Here is a look at five of them.
Rylee Boyes Rylee Boyes 5'6" | CG Galena | 2025 State KS , 5’6″, SG, Galena, 2025 – Boyes competes for Missouri Legacy 17U. From the little I have seen I can tell she ought to have a big season for the Bulldogs. She has good transition speed, moves well into space, and is a very good perimeter shooter.
Jacqueline Hall Jacqueline Hall 5'10" | PG Pittsburg | 2024 State KS , 5’10”, PG, Pittsburg, 2024 – Hall competes for Missouri Legacy 17U. Long, fast, and quick with the ball Hall effectively uses all of those attributes to create for her teammates and to finish at the rim with either hand. Active in the half court, she moves into space well and always seems ready to shoot off the catch. Hall is a terrific jump shooter. Accurate from beyond the arc and with a quick release.
Kayton O’Brien, 5’6″, SG, Labette County, 2024 – O’Brien competes for Missouri Legacy 17U. Defending on the perimeter O’Brien uses her quickness and physicality to generate turnovers. Gets downhill in a hurry in transition and shows speed with the ball. Has good bounce and a quick release on her three ball.
Landry O’Brien Landry O’Brien 5'8" | SG Labette County | 2025 State KS , 5’8″, PG, Labette County, 2025 – O’Brien competes for Missouri Legacy 17U. She has solid transition speed with the ball, moves well into space, and finishes with athleticism. Quick off the bounce O’Brien scores effectively and with bounce from the mid-range and beyond the arc. She is also a quick perimeter defender.
Marlee Stout Marlee Stout 5'10" | PF Frontenac | 2026 State KS , 5’10”, SF, Frontenac, 2026 – Stout competes for Missouri Legacy 15U. She caught the attention of my colleague Johnny Vick at the recent Battle in the Big Friendly. He reported that she had a versatile game, protected the rim well with her shot blocking, and canned a couple threes. For her play she was selected to the all-tournament first team.
