Eldorado’s Star Combo Guard, Bella Hines Bella Hines 5’10” | CG Eldorado | 2025 State NM , checks in once again as the top ranked player for the class of 2025. Having scored 1,000+ career points thus far, Bella is on pace to eclipse the 2,000 point make and has a good chance of reaching 2,500 when it is all said and done! Bella’s most notable performance this season came against West mesa where she dropped 51 points in an overtime win. That’s how dynamic of a scoring threat, Hines is! As a Sophomore she led the State in scoring at 30.0 PPG with a field goal percentage of 42%. This past season, Hines was also the leading rebounder and leading 3-Point Shooter amongst the 2025 Class.

Sydney Benally Sydney Benally 5’9″ | PG Sandia | 2025 State NM , Sandia’s star two-way PG, checks in at number two for the class of 2025. Like Hines, Benally is a game changer that has also eclipsed 1,000+ points in her career. Thanks to her high IQ, Sydney is able to play multiple positions and can do a variety of things on both ends of the floor. Benally was in the top 5 in almost every statistical category *see table below* providing Sandia with as much production one player can muster.

Bhret Clay Bhret Clay 5’9″ | SG Hobbs | 2025 State NM , a slashing SG, is the number three ranked player in the class of 2025. In the half-court Clay is a mismatch – she is strong & physical with a solid first step – Bhret can cause havoc on smaller guards and or slower forwards depending upon how they matchup. Clay was arguably the best player on the Lady Eagles this season and was a major piece to their 2023 5A State Championship. When Hobbs needed a play to be made, more often than not, it was Clay who provided.
2023 NMHSCA 5A All-State: 2nd Team
The number four ranked player in the class of 2025 is Brynn Hargrove Brynn Hargrove 5’6″ | PG Hobbs | 2025 State NM . The Eagles PG is a deadly 3-Point shooter and a solid floor general. Hargrove is not shy to shoot but also knows when to get others involved, showcasing her understanding of coverages and matchups. A Very important piece for the 2023 State Champions, the Hobbs Lady Eagles!
2023 NMHSCA 5A All-State: 2nd Team
The fifth ranked player in the class of 2025 is Hope Giddings Hope Giddings 5’8″ | SG Sandia | 2025 State NM from Sandia. Hope operates the SF position for the Matadors but plays all over the court. She can battle inside the lane as well as provide space out on the perimeter. Giddings likes to post up and play with her back to the basket but has shown great improvements moving without the ball & creating off the dribble.
