Hobbs yet again dominated their opposition and yet again, so did Clay. The 5’9″ Air Force commit finished with a game-high 15 points on 6/10 shooting. Clay also had 3 rebounds, 3 assists and 3 steals for the No. 1 Eagles who defeated the No. 8 Wildcats, 82-21.

Clay kicked-off the 2024-25 season with a bang by being the first member added to the 1,000 point-club. In the season opener at Sandia on Nov. 23, Clay had a team-high 18 points.
The 5’9″ shooting-guard and Air Force commit, is a physical mid-range slasher that can also stretch the floor. Moreover, Clay does a good job of earning trips to the charity-stripe thanks to her high-IQ and tremendous motor.

This past season, Bhret was named the Player of the Year for District 4-5A and was the Lady Eagles leading scorer (11.6 points per game) during the 2024 State Tournament. Entering her senior year, Clay who is a Two-Time All-State Selection (2023 & 2024) has seven total offers, ranging from Division I-II.
