Noel was impressive. She showed some really nice speed with a good change of pace throughout the contest. She handled the ball well under pressure and attacked the hoop on a consistent basis, leading to a whole lot of buckets for herself and her team. She did a good job of playing within her own means and being an aggressive leader on the offensive end for her team. With seeing the way she handled the ball so smoothly and her decision making in the contest, she is going to be seeing interest from the next level early-on in her high school career. I can already tell, she just needs to stay dedicated. One of their most impressive players was [player_tooltip player_id='478374' first='Betsy' last='Gillette']. Gillette showed off that her length and athleticism can be a real game changer when she is working smart out there, wether it be on offense or defense. Shooting the ball she showed that she can get hot quickly while attacking the hoop in a plethora of ways coming down the court. This weekend she showed me that she has a fairly high ceiling looking forward. It'll be interesting what the future holds but if she keeps working hard, it looks really promising. Micholichek plays fast but in control. She has an assisting mindset and you can tell this by the way she drives to the basket. When she is looking to beat her initial defender, she is always thinking about where the other side is going to be open for her teammates, almost to a fault at times. When it comes to scoring herself, she does well in that department. I watched her knock in an open three pointer along with a few closer takes near the basket through out her game. This team was one of the best I saw this weekend and a big part of that is because of Kiarrah and the energy she brings with her.","_player_evaluations_2_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations_3_not_in_database":["not_in_db"],"_player_evaluations_3_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_3_player_details_selected_featured_image":"","_player_evaluations_3_player_details_selected_featured_image":"field_62cca28ffa4e7","player_evaluations_3_player_details_player_name":"Kaelyn Nommensen","_player_evaluations_3_player_details_player_name":"field_62aba4c9ecf2f","player_evaluations_3_player_details_graduating_class":"2026","_player_evaluations_3_player_details_graduating_class":"field_62aba4ddecf30","player_evaluations_3_player_details_height":"5'10u0022","_player_evaluations_3_player_details_height":"field_62aba4e8ecf31","player_evaluations_3_player_details_position":"12124","_player_evaluations_3_player_details_position":"field_62aba4f0ecf32","player_evaluations_3_player_details_school":"Wisconsin Luthern ","_player_evaluations_3_player_details_school":"field_62aba4fdecf33","player_evaluations_3_player_details_club_team":"[program_tooltip program_id='713368' first='Wisconsin' last='Playground Elite'] 2026 Purple","_player_evaluations_3_player_details_club_team":"field_62d20e723441a","player_evaluations_3_player_details":"","_player_evaluations_3_player_details":"field_62aba4afecf2e","player_evaluations_3_evaluation":"I had the opportunity to watch this [program_tooltip program_id='713368' first='Wisconsin' last='Playground Elite'] 2026 Purple team play a few times this weekend and throughout the good and bad, one thing stay consistent, Kaelyn Nommensen played really well. On offense she found her spots on the floor, spaced things out well when she didn't receive the ball, played unselfishly, and finished when she caught with her back to the basket near the hoop a majority of the time. She showed this ability in more than one game throughout the weekend. On defense, she did a good job of staying down against her opponents pump-fakes or jabs. This group was fun to watch. They play with a lot of passion and really understand their roles. It'll be fun to see where they get to by the end of this summer. Once they tighten some things up, no one is going to want to face them on one of these weekends. Ezra is a combo guard/forward, with the height she currently is at her age. With her size and skill-set though, if she can stay a combo guard and keep up the guard skills part of it while using her body to her advantage, she is going to have a promising career at this level and into the next. She did a great job all day of getting the defense off balance and stretching the floor before blowing by them for an easy basket. I witnessed this on a number of occasions. Her size and athleticism also plays a big advantage for herself on the defensive side of things. She can move onto a smaller guard or play up and guard the post if need be. Keep an eye on Ezra. She showed a lot of great things this weekend and I'm sure that will continue into the rest of spring/summer.
