Rylie Edwards
Rylie Edwards
Edwards is “long and athletic” which I call the base because I love to evaluate that profile and more importantly, so do college coaches but her deceptive first step was very nice to attack the basket and finish strongly and did a good job creating contact on her drives. She also created her shot under pressure and knocked down the jumper with ease. She rebounded on both ends and played the passing lane
Enslie Dryer
Enslie Dryer
Dryer is also “long and athletic” see above, and her court vision immediately stood out but so did her understanding how to not only set the defender up but get hers “in the flow”. She scored off the dribble after attacking from multiple angles, she also dropped the midrange jumper in the set. She played solid defense and she did a good job playing the passing lane in each game I caught her
Alyssa Burch
Alyssa Burch
Burch is, you guessed it, “long and athletic” and I can’t emphasize how important that is for the next level, so what are her intangibles? Well, she plays within herself meaning she doesn’t force things which aren’t there. She has a nice first step to attack the basket and she saw the floor while driving to the rim or in the set. She also good timing to block, alter and (or) deflect shots and has good upside
Holly Barlow
Holly Barlow
Barlow saw the floor both in the set as well as in transition and her passes in traffic told me a lot. She understands how to get the defender leaning and attack the basket, with either hand, to finish but she’s heady and also “plays within herself”. Her “on the ball” defense coupled with her quick hands helped create turnovers and she also did a good job of doing what I absolutely love to see, plays the passing lane
Hughes just brings IT to the table and let me place her into that “never takes a play off” type of player. She’s consistently moving, she’s alert and she does things instinctively, like going after loose balls, off the rim, in the air as well as on the floor. She also has a nice midrange jumper, she even banked one in but her “on the ball” defense was smothering at times and she played the passing lane

Pearson was another player that understands the game, a perfect example is her understanding positioning to outrebound taller players, she even scored on a putback but she handles the ball well and her attacking the basket to score or dish was nice but she all saw the floor in the set. She did a good job on not only creating her shot while being defended but also knocked it down with a hand in her face
