Listed at 5’6″, Jaida had absolutely zero issues finishing in the lane in Atlantic City. Her floater game was as good as I saw at the AC Showcase and her NJ Shoreshots HGSL 2025 teammates do a great job of creating space for her to get downhill. Combine her shiftiness with her ability to push tempo and she has defenders on their heels all game long. Don’t play off too much because she can shoot it too. She averaged 2 3-pointers a game in her sophomore year where she averaged just under 18ppg for a 21-7 Union City HS squad. As a defender if you show her the ball, it’s a layup the other way. She averaged 3spg at Union City and is torturing guards with her quick hands on the AAU circuit.
Sophie’s game continues to grow. She uses her size to keep you on her back in the post. If she does get you on her back in the post, she is going to use a strong right-hand finish to score over you. She attacks the offensive glass with strong hands and powers up on the put backs. With a highly talented NJ Shoreshots 2026 HGSL team around her, she understands when to dive to the block to take advantage of easy layups off a dish from driving teammates. She is a strong rim runner in transition and a solid interior passer when the doubles come. Defensively she uses great length to block shots and understands interior help defense. Part of a loaded Red Bank Catholic freshman class this group will be fun to watch the next 3 years.
Alexa literally does everything on the offensive end for the Philly Belles 16u squad. She plays the game like a true PG. Of all the things she does, I am most impressed with her ability to deliver passes to the perfect spot for her teammates. She consistently delivers passes on the money so that all her teammates have to do is catch and finish. She has a strong frame so when she gets in the paint, she can use her body to protect the ball and finish thru contact. She has great use of hesitation and change of pace to get where she wants to go with the ball and is a creative finisher inside. She is well on her way to 1,000 points for Lenape HS.
Highlights
Savannah has great length and takes advantage of it at the defensive end for the United 16u Select 40. She disrupts drives in the lane with her help defense and when she is on the ball in the paint, she forces players to finish over her 6’1″ frame. Savannah is an aggressive rebounder and likes to clean up the offensive glass. She averaged 15+ppg and 14+rpg as a sophomore at Montclair HS with 20 double doubles in 23 games. She did not back down when matched up with 6’3″ D1 lock Julia Scott of the Empire State Storm 2025 squad. She looks to go right the rim when she gets the ball inside and as her jumper continues to develop her offensive output will keep growing.
