LBI Spring Invitational: Hoop State Players

Who were some of the players that we were able to see from the Hoop State play today? Take a look right here in this article right here on your source for basketball coverage in the Carolinas. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong><em>Team Mack Wins Thriller: </em></strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Head Coach Giovanni Mack was one happy man after defeating Lady Upward Stars 3SSB 2026 this past weekend down in Charleston. The game went down to the bitter end before the Charlotte based team prevailed. Team Mack would finish the weekend at (4-0) at the LBI Spring Invitational. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Team Mack was led by the trio of <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='654834' first='Tait' last='Harvey']</strong>, <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='621974' first='Charlotte' last='Tune']</strong> and <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='922564' first='Olive' last='Bigham']</strong>. Harvey (2027) informed Prep Girls Hoops she will be attending A.C. Reynolds HS (Asheville) in the fall. Tait was quite impressive with her ability to use her body and attack the baseline while fighting off defenders. She finished with 11 points in the win according to our unofficial stats. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Tune a left-handed guard attends Charlotte Latin. Charlotte plays the game with a good basketball mind and understanding. She understands on how to make winning plays. Charlotte uses ball screens to get to the cup when she's not hustling down a loose ball on the floor. Tune and Harvey in the backcourt look to be a very bright duo in the years to come for Team Mack. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='922564' first='Olive' last='Bigham']</strong> came up big time after time today with just being in the right place to execute a bucket. Bigham who attends Charlotte Country Day was able to deliver on some putbacks around the cup. Moore attends Corvian Community in Charlotte. Kendyll isn't a big rah rah type of player on the floor. Moore was able to get to her spots on the floor and really showed good shooting mechanics from behind the arc today. Garris plays the game with a MOTOR at all times. She will shake and bake to the cup with the ball in her hands. Misa shows great explosion at times to the basket. She is a tough-minded kid who has no problems taking a charge it seems like on command. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Garris is a physical guard who likes to get downhill with the ball and can keep a defender honest as a capable jump-shooter at times. Misa runs on the Grassroots Circuit with Team United 2026. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph -->
