“Must See” Guards This Summer – Part 2

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The Spring AAU season is almost at the end and we have seen a lot of good guards, and our mission impossible is to see them all. There are so many quality guards in the State that it would take the entire year to see them all. In this article, we take a look at some of the guards that we plan to see this summer during the live period.&nbsp;</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='214172' first='Beckham' last='Hockley'] is a must-see this upcoming summer during the live period.&nbsp; She is a flat-out baller who can do it all on the court.&nbsp; Hockley can shoot the ball from any area on the court and is deadly from behind he three-point line.&nbsp; &nbsp; she is also a good shooter in the midrange area.&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;She can also attack the rim and knows how to score or draw the foul and get to the line.&nbsp; &nbsp; In high school play, Hockley was averaging nearly 22 points at one juncture in the season.&nbsp; Hockley is&nbsp;a high-IQ player who is versatile and can play multiple positions.&nbsp; &nbsp; Last year during the travel season,&nbsp; her team was down a point guard and she became the primary ball handler in Orlando.&nbsp; &nbsp;Looking forward to seeing Hockley on the courts this summer. <img class="wp-image-548259" style="width: 150px" src="https://prepgirlshoops.com/wp-content/uploads/sites/4/2022/11/Beckham-Hockley-D1-750UL.jpg" alt=""></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='248303' first='Jasmine' last='Bocca'] is a point guard that we want to see more of this summer. She is one of the best point guards in the state in the 2024 class and plays the game like a coach on the floor.&nbsp; She can shoot the three-pointer and can drive the ball to the basket.&nbsp; &nbsp;Bocca (cover photo) is a great situational basketball player with a high IQ and seems to always make the right play on the court.&nbsp;&nbsp; She is also a good passer and gets the ball to her teammates in a position to score.&nbsp;&nbsp; She is also good at drawing the defense and passing the ball to her teammates in scoring positions. &nbsp;&nbsp; Defensively,&nbsp; Bocca is a good on-the-ball defender and can also play helps side defense as well. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><img class="wp-image-498491" style="width: 150px" src="https://prepgirlshoops.com/wp-content/uploads/sites/4/2022/09/20220911_164358-scaled.jpg" alt=""></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='426336' first='Natalie' last='Allen'] is a player to see this summer.  She has a really good feel for the game and knows how to put the ball in the basket from anywhere on the court.  She is a very good three-point shooter. Allen has a quick release and a beautiful shooting motion. Allen Does a little of everything on the court. She's a great passer, plays good defense, and has very good court vision.  She is a selfless player who looks to get her teammates involved.  Allen was exceptional last year in travel ball and also was a standout at various camps in the State.
