Three high schools west of downtown Atlanta – Lithia Springs HS, Alexander HS and New Manchester HS were all utilized for the festivities. Three other Prep Girls Hoops Circuit events were taking place across the country as Wisconsin, Ohio and Texas also played host to said get-togethers.
For those that were first on the three-day card, several wasted no times displaying that they had their balling shoes on for the weekend in metro-Atlanta. Here are those that did just that.
Ashlyn Young
Ashlyn Young
Tremann Elite 2025 had a bit of a trek as they followed their travel from Florida by matching up against a team from the metropolitan Atlanta. Have balling shoes will travel was the motto of the day for Young as she led her team with 16 points as her team was one of the first of the abbreviated Friday to get into the win column at Peach Games. Young can be effective with the 3-pointer and puts herself in position to corral rebounds. She can turn defense into offense – particularly in transition where steals can become 2-point layups on the other end of the floor.
Ar’Nayshia Griffin
Ar’Nayshia Griffin
Griffin is the tallest of the Tremann Elite 2025 players as its roster has her listed at an even six feet. She was one element of what was an offensive clinic the Florida-based team put together as they matched up against Queens of Basketball from the Atlanta area. She particularly made her presence known in the second half of play which is when she did the bulk of her scoring damage. Defensively, she can display how effective she is particularly when helping out on double teams. Rebounding, blocking shots, and ball movement are other strong points to her game.
Harris is one of two that is listed on the roster for Tremann Elite 2025 at 5-foot-7. She finished with nine points en route to what was an emphatic start for her team matching up against Queens of Basketball. One must watch out for her if she has the rock from 3-point range as she is likely to take and make those attempts. Rebounding is another key element to her game. Harris is one of several on the roster who happens to be playing up in class and she displayed exactly why that is the case on Friday evening at Lithia Springs HS.
Ja’Niyah McCoy
Ja’Niyah McCoy
McCoy is another who happens to be playing up in class for Tremann Elite 2026 – one of five on the team who is doing just that. She tallied a total of eight points en route to a 70-49 victory for her Sunshine State-based travel team in their opening contest of this year’s Peach Games. Tremann Elite 2025 unleashed a barrage of treys that were key in the win they got over Queens of Basketball and McCoy was part of that shooting effort from deep. McCoy is listed at 5-foot-4 on the team’s roster. She is also the lone representative out of Forest HS on the roster.

Queens of Basketball may have been on the receiving end of a lopsided result against Florida-based Tremann Elite 2025 to tip off this year’s Peach Games, but Roberts gave her team a much-needed lift. Roberts paced her team with a 19-point effort as she individually got her weekend started on the right pair of sneakers. Roberts displayed what she can get accomplished on both offense and defense as she proved herself to be an effective shot blocker. Roberts may stand at 5-foot-11 but she displayed her offensive versatility with her willingness to try her hand from deep. Finishing on tough shots and delivering at the free throw line are two other elements to her game that have her as a stock-rising 2026.
There are four listed on the Queens of Basketball roster that are currently playing as 2026s. Snelling is one of those and she also stood out with an impressive performance. She finished with 11 points while her team was on the receiving end of an emphatic result to Tremann Elite 2025. While Snelling understands how to attack the rim, she also is aware that many of those opportunities can lead to her drawing contact and getting to the free throw line. Snelling is listed at 5-foot-6 on the Queens of Basketball roster and is one of several representing Parkview on this year’s rendition.
Kennedi Benton
Kennedi Benton
Parkview is well-represented on this year’s Queens of Basketball roster and it was well-represented on the scoresheet. Benton also had a double-digit performance as she too finished with 11 points in what was otherwise a tough evening at the office for the Atlanta-area team. Benton plays with a fearless attitude when attacking the rim and that tenacity often leads to her finishing strong at the cup. A midrange jump shot is also part of her overall offensive repertoire. Benton is listed at 5-foot-5 on the Queens of Basketball roster. Helping on double teams as a defender adds to her complete game.
London Smith
London Smith
Smith has already been heralded as one of the premier youngsters in all of girls basketball in Georgia. She certainly looked like it on the first day of Peach Games as Smith tallied 16 points en route to a 64-46 victory for TKO United over Carolina All-Stars 2025. Smith is one who absorbs plenty of contact as often as she has the ball in her hands. Smith sees plays well and it allows her teammates to efficiently finish plays. A 3-point shot is part of her offensive repertoire in addition to her ability to connect from the free throw line.
Here is a young up-and-comer that certainly got her weekend off on the correct pair of sneakers. Her TKO United 2026 team earned a 64-46 win over North Carolina-based Carolina All-Stars and she finished with a total of 21 points which led all scorers for that contest. She too has an ability to draw contact and take her chances at the free throw line and often finds herself at the right places at the right times throughout the course of a game. Out of the 21 points she scored in Friday evening’s victory, 15 of them were placed on the scoreboard in the second half.
Highlights
Zimmerman has had herself an impressive AAU campaign as was evidenced by the stellar showing she put together back at the Triumph Region Kickoff in Spartanburg that earned her 1st team 16U honors. Even through her Carolina All-Stars 2025 squad did not come away with the result it was looking for against Georgia-based TKO United, Zimmerman still had herself a noteworthy game with a 12-point outing. Zimmerman can score from virtually anywhere on the court – including from deep where she connected on a couple of her attempts from behind the arc. She can turn offensive rebounds into putbacks, will be ready to box out in case of an opposing team’s free throw miss, helps out on double teams and will block shots as a defender. Getting to the free throw line is another of her strong points.
Zihanna Lightfoot
Zihanna Lightfoot
She is one of two six-footers that is listed on the Carolina All-Stars 2025 roster. Lightfoot is one of several standouts that is playing up in class on this year’s rendition of the team. Her team was on the receiving end of a 64-46 decision to TKO United 2026, but she aided her team with a 13-point performance. Lightfoot is a force to be reckoned with on both the offensive and defensive ends of the floor as her ability to reject shots as a defender compliment what she can do as a scorer. Rebounding the ball is another of her strong areas and a few of those boards can be of the offensive variety.
