We will include cities in New Mexico such as Albuquerque, Las Cruces, Rio Rancho, Farmington, Hobbs and others. This first segment will be the top ten rankings from Albuquerque ranked 5-1, following with rankings for the city Las Cuces coming in a few days. ***High School Division Only.
#1 Bella Hines Bella Hines 5'10" | CG Eldorado | 2025 State NM | PG | Eldorado: The top recruit in New Mexico was the easy choice as the #1 ranked player in the “Albuquerque” city rankings. She has received the most Division-1 offers of any local New Mexico female athlete in a longtime. Bella Hines Bella Hines 5'10" | CG Eldorado | 2025 State NM is the most prolific scorer in the state and it’s not even close. She was nearly a double-double threat with her rebounding. Bella Hines Bella Hines 5'10" | CG Eldorado | 2025 State NM raises her game up a notch outside the state playing for her club teams.
#2 Sydney Benally Sydney Benally 5'9" | PG Sandia | 2025 State NM | PG | Sandia: An all-around two-way player that stuffs the stats-sheet. Sydney Benally Sydney Benally 5'9" | PG Sandia | 2025 State NM was at her best when she put her head down and drove to the basket. When she’s at her best attacking the basket, that’s when she kicks the basketball out to her open teammates for assists. Sydney Benally Sydney Benally 5'9" | PG Sandia | 2025 State NM is a pest defensively with her anticipation and instincts.
#3 Taejhuan Hill Taejhuan Hill 5'11" | C Volcano Vista | 2024 State NM | C | Volcano Vista: TT Hill has been arguably the best center in the state all season long. She will be the undisputed top post player going into the 2023-24 season. She averaged nearly a double-double of 16 points and 10 rebounds per game while leading the Volcano Vista Hawks to their 4th straight 5A State Championship Game Appearance. TT Hill was solid in the post and in the paint grabbing second chance opportunities.
#4 Eva Love Eva Love 5'9" | SG La Cueva | 2024 State NM | SG | La Cueva: A quick and steady scoring guard that can heat up quickly. She is at her best when she is aggressive looking to score. Eva Love Eva Love 5'9" | SG La Cueva | 2024 State NM is dangerous on the fast break and finishes really well. She does a good job creating her own shot with a mid-range pull-up.
#5 Hope Giddings Hope Giddings 5'8" | SG Sandia | 2025 State NM | SG | Sandia: Hope Giddings Hope Giddings 5'8" | SG Sandia | 2025 State NM is super underrated in the basketball community. A big reason for that is because she is a part of the loaded 2025 Class, and she has a great supporting cast of teammates at Sandia High School. She has improved a lot this the beginning of her freshman year. Hope Giddings Hope Giddings 5'8" | SG Sandia | 2025 State NM has gotten stronger, faster and better overall as a basketball player. She had added several other layers to her game by becoming more than just a scoring threat.
