Lockhart was phenomenal this past weekend. The six foot small forward dominated on both ends of the ball. She displayed confidence with the ball in her hand – allowing her to score and pass with ease. She has a smooth jumper to go with her IQ. Although she doesn’t post-up often, she has the ability to do so. Her foot work around the paint area creates several opportunities to either pass or finish at the rim.
Highlights
Ramirez is an exceptional shooter. The Hudson Catholic player didn’t hesitate when she had the ball. She displayed confidence in nearly every area. She is also attentive on the defensive end as she caused disrupted her opponent’s flow constantly. Ramirez can play in multiple positions due to her unique frame and shot making abilities. However, she is a few alterations away from the next level. She needs create more chance for herself with the ball. Although she has the confidence to shoot the three ball, Ramirez needs to drive to the basket when the opportunity presents itself. At times, she relies solely on her shooting ability which limits her when opponents double team.
Carnegie stood out this past weekend. The rising sophomore attacked the paint without fear. She can finish with both hands and has a consistent midrange shot. The right handed player is relentless and despite her size, she fights for every rebound. She also finds ways to involve her teammates with a single pass. Carnegie is an intelligent player who is only going to grow. She is a rising sophomore and has a high ceiling.

Mcfarlene was impressive from the opening whistle. She facilitated the offense effortlessly with her sharp passing ability. The game slows down when she’s in possession and that allows her to use her IQ to break opponents down. She’s a pass first guard but can shoot and finish at the rim when needed. Mcfarlene has a silky touch on the ball. She rarely turns the ball over as she isn’t easily fazed.
