Here is a scouting report on players who stood out in those two games featuring Kansas squads from Clearwater, Gardner Edgerton, and Blue Valley North.

[player_tooltip player_id='349796' first='Jaliya' last='Davis'], 6'2", C, Blue Valley North, '25

Davis is a Division I Power Conference prospect all day, every day. Davis averaged a double-double as a sophomore scoring 18.7 points per game and collecting 10.3 rebounds per game. In a five-point victory against Glenpool (OK) she scored 19 points and finished with four rebounds. The Mustang Center is currently ranked No. 2 in the PGH Kansas Rankings for the Class of 2025. She added four rebounds in the win and shot 9-for-12 from the field. The only area I saw for improvement is she gets frustrated when a call does not go her way. She is being recruited by multiple Division I programs.

[player_tooltip player_id='349453' first='Aubrey' last='Shaw'], 6'1", PG, Blue Valley North, '25

Shaw is a real gunslinger. She made five 3-point field goals and finished with 21 points in the win over Glenpool. She averaged 13.5 points and 8.7 rebounds per game during her sophomore campaign. Shaw is currently ranked No. 3 among her Kansas peers in the Class of 2025. Shaw and Davis accounted for 40 of the Blue Valley North's 47 points in the 26-minute game featuring a running clock.

[player_tooltip player_id='453776' first='Tyara' last='Davis'], 5'10”, SF, Blue Valley North, ‘24

Davis is currently ranked No. 116 in the Class of 2024. She is a glass cleaner and can score from the inside. She also does a solid job at finding open teammates. She had three rebounds in the win over Glenpool.

[player_tooltip player_id='265114' first='Elizabeth' last='Tjaden'], 5'9", SG, Clearwater, ‘24

Tjaden is a solid basketball player. She can shoot, drive, pass, and play defense. The Clearwater prospect is ranked No. 19 in Kansas in the Class of 2024. In a 15-point victory over Gardner-Edgerton, she scored 13 points and hit one 3-point basket. She is a three-level scorer and has had conversations with Division II programs.

[player_tooltip player_id='621237' first='Justine' last='Berlin'], 5'11”, PF, Clearwater, ‘25

Berlin is a young and talented prospect. She has plus length and enjoys driving the ball. She scored six points and had two rebounds in the win over Gardner-Edgerton.

[player_tooltip player_id='335938' first='Aaliyah' last='Moss'], 5'10", G, Gardner-Edgerton, ‘24

Moss is a gutsy athlete that is willing to do the dirty work on the defensive end and on the glass. She had four points and three rebounds in the loss to Clearwater She can shoot from 3-point range and makes good passes. Moss is ranked No. 63 in the Class of 2025 rankings.

[player_tooltip player_id='544056' first='Landri' last='Schaffer'], 5'10”, PG, Gardner-Edgerton, ‘26

Schaffer was my personal favorite player to watch so far on Day One. She is all arms and legs. She reminds me of a young Scottie Pippen. She did not shoot great in the win over Gardner-Edgerton, but she still accounted for nine points and just kept looking to score. She has a serious wing span and plays solid defense.
