The 5 players below are all difference makers on the court that have shown over the past year that they are ready to produce at the high school level. These players should all see some varsity minutes this upcoming season. How many you may ask? That is to be determined but if they all stay in love with the process, they are sure to shine and keep that momentum rolling into the future. Thanks for tuning in and enjoy!

Spicer is a power forward with size, coordination, and touch near the basket. She moves well up and down the court while possessing a high motor on both sides of the ball. Offensively, she is good with her back to the basket, with the ability to pass when she is doubled in the paint. Defensively, she works hard to beat her opponents to their spots and it stands out. She works early in possessions to win her battles, showing that she understands the mental part of the game at another level. Spicer is going to put up some numbers this season at the varsity level and I can't wait to see it. Abens is a 5'10/11 combo guard, who has both a guard and post like skill set with the ball in her hands. She moves quickly in the open court and finds her spots well on offense. I'm not sure if Abens is going to see the floor a ton this season because of how deep this Mustangs roster is coming off of a state title but she should see sometime. She works hard and it's going to pay off in the end. Keitges is a lengthy point guard who controls the tempo of the game at an advanced level. She is best with the ball in her hands but understands that sometimes she needs to give it up and make something else happen on the floor. There are few different type of point guards out there but I would put Ketiges in the category of being a game manager. A player that controls the style of the game, between both teams, from start to finish. When you have a guard with this ability, you can really manipulate it into your advantage and win a lot of games. Look out of Keitges this winter, she is sure to impress at Knoxville high school. Storhoff is a guard who stands at 5'8 and seems to always make the right play with the ball. I would describe her as being very self aware on the floor. She always understands who is on the floor with her and the ability of those players. On top of that, she communicates with everyone well and always points out when she see's something that could impact the game in a major way. I am going to have to see Storhoff more this winter but until then, she is going to keep working and stay locked in on her craft, becoming better and better each day. She is a guard who will play the point guard position eventually, but for now she is moving between the 1 and the 2 spot. When it comes to the high school season I imagine she will be made a pure point guard, with the ability to score if need be. When I watched her this past week Zeutenhorst made the most of her opportunities, grind-ed on both sides of the ball, and played bigger than her size on a consistent basis. There are some good things to come in Zeutenhorst's future, she just needs to keep working on the right things and it'll all keep coming together.
