Continue ReadingNot much movement here with Caitlin Kramer Caitlin Kramer 6’3″ | SF Air Acadamy | 2024 State CO coming in at number 1 in the upcoming senior class. Over the last few months, she has started to take her game to another level by really diving in defensively. She has become more active in passing lanes, as well as forcing opposing players to score over her. Offensively we’ve seen what she is capable of as she is a 3-level scorer that does it with ease but what I like most about her this summer is how efficient she has become from the field making her that much more dangerous.
It’s been great to see Elizabeth Gentry Elizabeth Gentry 6’2″ | PF Arapahoe | 2024 State CO back on the court and making a difference after having to sit out last season. She’s come into Grassroots season with a chip on her shoulder and eager to remind everybody what she is about. So far that’s exactly what she has done. She’s dominated the post on both ends of the floor using her size and length to finish over and through contact on the block. Elizabeth has also looked comfortable on the wing, putting the ball on the floor a getting to the rim.
Being the most athletic girl in the class has its perks and makes the game a little easier for Hana Belibi but over the past couple of months we’ve seen her start to use her IQ more. She has realized that there are ways to score that don’t require her to use her body every play. Whether it’s bringing the ball up the court as the point or coming off a series of screens. Which has only made her a better player as she heads into her senior year. The talent matches the athleticism and I am expecting a huge year for her.

Damara Allen may be the biggest name of the summer as she starts to rake up some well-deserved D1 and D2 offers. So far she has gotten Metro, LMU, and Belmont to name a few. Her time on the Adidas 3SSB circuit has shown that she is a willing defender that is capable of guarding opposing teams’ best players. Combine that with her ability to put the ball in the basket when called upon, she makes the perfect two-way player and the state will be on alert this season.

Every year there is girl that flies under the radar but has all the intangibles that make a great college athlete, this year’s girl happens to be Nevaeh Millard Nevaeh Millard 5’7″ | CG Denver South | 2024 State CO . A sharp shooting combo guard that can put the ball on the ground and score with the best of them. Over the last 6 months she’s also become more of a vocal lead leader on the court, making sure teammates under what is going on and even picking up the slack when needed. As the summer goes on you expect her to keep improving her game in hopes of becoming a steal for a school.
