Clayton Conover | Prep Girls Hoops Scout
Belibi came up big when they needed shots, staying ready to let jumpers fly past the contest. She reminded the whole state of why she is one of the most converted prospects in that 2024 class, particularly given her competitive edge down the stretch.

Regis Jesuit had its struggles with Legend during their Final Four matchup but seemed to have the chance to get back in the game. Every time they made a run Legend matched it.

happened to be a constant player for Regis willing them back into the game with her defensive pressure and finishing at the rim. When your best players give it their all the team usually follows along with them and that is how they were able to get back into the game during the 4th quarter.

Belibi is a mobile forward who remains a dependable three point shooter and versatile defender. She is especially active getting to mid-range jumpers and drives to the rim, not solely reliant on her three point jumper. Active flying off of screens, Belibi remains one of the more difficult opponents to defend when hitting shots.

Belibi comes into her senior year not only as the number one player in the class but as as a nationally known player as well. She is one of the key components of what makes this a championship roster. The Harvard commit has 3-level scoring ability especially using her body to punish smaller guards in the post. Over the last year, she has become a much better passer, finding open teammates once the defense collapses.

Belibi sought out driving lanes in transition, actively getting into position to draw fouls or finish layups. Highly active on loose balls, she forced jump balls and second chance opportunities from rebounds, adding to Regis’s dominant effort. Yet another steady season ahead for the forward, among one of the state’s most potent offensive programs.

Being the most athletic girl in the class has its perks and makes the game a little easier for Hana Belibi but over the past couple of months we’ve seen her start to use her IQ more. She has realized that there are ways to score that don’t require her to use her body every play. Whether it’s bringing the ball up the court as the point or coming off a series of screens. Which has only made her a better player as she heads into her senior year. The talent matches the athleticism and I am expecting a huge year for her.

Coryn’s high school teammate happens to be an elite prospect as well, coming in at #2 in the 2024 class. Last year she produced 14.2 ppg. and 8.1 rpg. She’s got great overall size, length, and at 6’0 she can play on a wing. A versatile prospect that can defend size. A skilled offensive game, allowing her to go off the dribble. Can shoot the three, making 30 on the year at a respectable 33%.
