First Team

[player_tooltip player_id='720581' first='Mackenzie' last='Griffin'] , 5'7″, PG, Vista Peak Prep (CO), 2024, Lady RoughRiders 2024 - Among the quickest players on both ends of the floor, there were a couple of abilities she showed that were absolute pile cutters. In half- and full-court situations Griffin was not often sped up and always had her head up when pressured. Above all, she was rarely distracted from where she wanted to go with the ball.

[player_tooltip player_id='222386' first='Savannah' last='Pohl'],, 5'11”, PF, 2024, Longmont (CO), [program_tooltip program_id='712718' first='NOCO' last='Triple Threat'], 2024 - With a high ceiling player like Pohl some of the important things a player needs to improve upon frequently go unnoticed unless you really pay attention. Her play at the event showed how well she uses her speed, reach, and strength to be disruptive against transition offensive play. On the other end she was very strong making plays catching on the move and out her back-to-basket game.

[player_tooltip player_id='539009' first='Prayer' last='Roebuck'], 5'9", PF, Neodesha (KS), 2025, [program_tooltip program_id='715510' first='365' last='Hoops Elite'] 2024 - Roebuck was among the toughest, waking mismatches of the event. Strength, length, scoring, and rebounding chops take advantage of her solid build and high-motor transition speed and solid build. A consistent three point threat Roebuck also attacked with athleticism.

Bradie Schlabs, 5'6″, CG, East Cheyenne (WY), 2024, [program_tooltip program_id='712718' first='NOCO' last='Triple Threat'], 2024 – Never underestimate the value of a terrific passer. I will take a assist generating, especially 3:1 assist-to-turnover, passer over a 10 point/10 rebound player any day of the week. Schlabs is a athletic, solid speed guard who works hard and well on the wings on both ends. She showed consistency in lofting inside to bigs where the big wanted to catch the ball, making fade passes to shooters on the wing, and hitting teammates with quick and catchable passes on the move.

[player_tooltip player_id='525631' first='Aubree' last='Showalter'], 5'5", PG, Waurika (OK), 2024, Lady Thunder 2024 - It is hard to not be repetitive of my 17 Day 1 notes. Arguably the speediest player with the ball at the event, Showalter flat got the ball down the floor off turnovers and out of the transition offense. She has good bounce and ball skills to create her own scoring opportunity and took care of her bigs with entry passes with good touch.

Second Team

[player_tooltip player_id='723402' first='Taylor' last='McCarty'], 5'8", SF, Cheylin (KS), 2027, [program_tooltip program_id='715500' first='Magic' last='Basketball'] 2024 - For a team without a legitimate big McCarty turned into a steady interior presence on both ends of the floor. Not flashy or eye-catchingly quick she moved into space offensively. Taking what defenders gave she moved into space well and scored consistently well off moves 6'-8' from the hole. That included back-to-basket plays and jumpers. She also showed scoring ability with either hand. Defensively, she worked well within team defense including using her lower body to contest position and staying down rather than trying the vain attempt shot block. A very mature game.

[player_tooltip player_id='645079' first='Grace' last='Frazier'], 5'3″, PG, Diamond (MO), 2024, MO Legacy, 2024 – If you like ringleaders Frazier is very comfortable leading the show. Among the quickest point guards at the event she handled the ball not only with strength and confidence but also, in a bit of a rivalry game at the end of the event, showed some fire. A very physically tough player, she is unafraid to draw contact on a finish with extension. Her quickness also is disruptive on defense, creating instant points off turnovers.

Jasmine Henry, 6'1", C, Waurika (OK), 2025, Lady Thunder 2024 - There is a lot to like about Henry and it all starts with her size, which is legitimate. A solidly build post with a good wing span Henry's north-south speed was solid. That speed set up her positioning on both ends of the floor. In a field with few legitimate sized bigs Henry smartly took advantage of smaller players attempting to use their lower bodies to move her. She showed good hands, smart ability to catch and keep the ball high, and scoring ability with both hands. She worked well in the screen game and protected the ball well off rebounds.

[player_tooltip player_id='265121' first='Jera' last='Kruleski'], 5'8", CG, Holcomb (KS), [program_tooltip program_id='715500' first='Magic' last='Basketball'] 2024 - All event long and athletic Kruleski showed showed a diverse skill set that included ball skills pulling down boards, getting the break going, and scoring ability at all three levels. What I really enjoyed watching was her defense, especially helping on drives and entry passes. For a team without a legitimate big she was everywhere, consistently causing altered shots. On lobs over the top, players turning off the catch quickly found Kruleski walled up. Guards whirling inside found her having arrived a step or two sooner on both the high and low sides.

[player_tooltip player_id='689615' first='Emma' last='Yurich'], 5'8", PG/SG, Hillcrest (TX), 2024, YB33 Reign Black 2024 - While some bio information shows her to be a lead guard where I found Yurich doing the most damae was working the wing and small forward areas. Fast with an ability to score athletically with both hands Yurich has length and hops that enable her to score in transition over and around smaller defenders. She also uses those traits to control rebounds and get the ball out to waiting ball handlers.

Third Team

Scarlett Floyd, 5'10", PF, Willard (MO), MO Legacy, 2024 - Floyd is a solid, all-around post player who does a lot of the dirty work. Defending opposing bigs and small forwards, directing interior defense, calling out switches to cut down on mis-matches, grabbing and protecting rebounds, and on and on. She not just out works opponents but she also works smarter than most. She has a great foundation that she uses to her advantage and solid speed to get to her spots quick.

Brooklyn Houston, 5'4", PG, Prosper (TX), 2026, YB33 Reign Black 2024 - Houston can get downhill in hurry with the ball. Among the fastest at the event with it. On both sides of the ball her quickness was consistent, enabling her to be effective defending the ball as well as creating off the dribble with it.

[player_tooltip player_id='327670' first='Nevaeh' last='Lucero'], 5'5″, PG, Skyview (CO), [program_tooltip program_id='713372' first='Rado' last='Prep'] 2024 - The quick, slightly build Lucero is a high motor player the ability to finish in transition against multiple defenders and the skills to split defenders off the bounce in the half court. She has a terrific wing span to go with her hand speed that she uses to cause turnovers. A player nobody can question about her toughness. She hit the floor repeatedly, usually off basket drives.

Lyndee Mikesell, 5'9", PF, Afton (OK), 2024, [program_tooltip program_id='715510' first='365' last='Hoops Elite'] 2024 - While Mikesell struggled some with perimeter shooting consistency she was just good enough to open things up for the rest of her game. Heady and fast with good scoring ability she also rebounded well. Mikesell has yet to reach her potential using her solid build effectively but will be on a great number or radars. Very solid motor and physicality.

Bradie Schlabs, 5'6″, CG, East Cheyenne (WY), 2024, [program_tooltip program_id='712718' first='NOCO' last='Triple Threat'] , 2024 - Another of the strong passers I saw, Schlabs was especially effective making challenged bounce passes to post players where they were calling for the ball at. Also was effective with the fade pass. Underappreciated skills that Schlabs excelled at.
