[player_tooltip player_id='649172' first='Rylee' last='Boyes'], 5'6", PG, Galena - My colleague Simmie Colson and I have both had the opportunity to watch Boyes in action at Prep Girls Hoops [program_tooltip program_id='716194' first='[program_tooltip program_id='714510' first='[program_tooltip program_id='713097' first='Dynasty' last='']' last='']' last=''] Circuit action. A legit two-end player Boyes has shown strong body control when anticipating contact, attacking and creating ability off the bounce, consistency with her passing, and proficiency in jumping passing lanes.

[player_tooltip player_id='649344' first='Maci' last='McClure'], 5'7", PG, Minneapolis - 2023 North Central Activities Association first team. 2022 HM. 2023 Varsity Kansas 3A HM

[player_tooltip player_id='688279' first='Makenna' last='Balzer'], 5'8", CG, Trinity Academy - I have not had great looks at Balzer this summer but what I have liked about her game is her wingspan and movement without the ball. She is also a viable three-point threat.

[player_tooltip player_id='675834' first='Adyson' last='Rohr'], CG/SF, Southeast of Saline - Last season, on a very deep team returning a bunch of players from a 2022 state tournament appearance, Rohr was often the first off the bench. A player with a good an all-around game that blends with her teammates, she is experienced in being in the middle of tough games, defends with athleticism, and can put the ball in the hole. I expect her to have a standout season.

2A

[player_tooltip player_id='675848' first='Katie' last='Conard'], 5'7", CG, Sterling - Conard returns not just as one of the most experienced players but also as the top offensive threat for the Bears. She has quick feet, good speed, and an ability to use transition and post up play to get points in the paint.

1A

[player_tooltip player_id='649175' first='Anna' last='Jueneman'], 5'8", CG, Hanover - Jueneman showed why she is one of the top returning players in the 1A classification by hanging 19 points and 5 steals in a state semi-finals victory over St. John's/Tipton. KBCA named her to the 1A Division II first team.

[player_tooltip player_id='675833' first='Katie' last='Johnson'], 5'11", PF, Doniphan West - Johnson literally is a big reason why the Chargers captured the 1A Division I state title last year, I got to see her handiwork in June at MAYB's 1A/2A tournament. Johnson is a very active post player who gets a ton of touches and is a developing talent who is only going to get better. While slender, she uses her length and athleticism to get solid shots off her work. Very difficult to guard due to her Post-catch-pass, flash-catch-pass play. An unselfish player to boot.

[player_tooltip player_id='675829' first='Saige' last='Hadley'], 5'9", SG, Lebo - Lebo is always strong and I expect the next season to not be any different. Hadley will be in the middle of it. From seeing her at June's MAYB 1A/2A tournament Hadley showed herself to be a solid scorer around the hoop off the catch or as a result of putting a couple post moves together. Working inside she uses her hands very well to call for the ball where she wants to catch it. As a shooter, She also will unleash a high arching, corner bomb from time to time. Hadley is a lot for defenders to handle now because of how hard she works inside. Averaging 14.7 points per game a season ago, Hadley earned KBCA 1A Division II first team honors

[player_tooltip player_id='675827' first='Carlie' last='Brummer'], 5'7", CG, St. John's/Tipton - St. John's/Tipton is always in the mix come state tournament time and 2023 was no exception. After a loss in the state semi-finals Brummer was selected to the KBCA 1A Division II second team. Brummer averaged 15.8 per game a season ago and can be expected to keep piling up points.
