Let’s take a look at the athletes in the class of 2027 that are going to be making waves right away for their high school teams.

Lola Vanore Lola Vanore 5’5″ | PG Page | 2027 NC has been playing with upperclassmen with Lady Gaters this travel season showing how she is already capable of playing at high school speed. She handles the ball well making plays, and she knows how to make adjustments to get the pass to her teammates. She can certainly score on all levels, too, knowing how to get to the basket weaving around her opponents to finish at the basket.
Lenise Joseph Lenise Joseph 6’0″ | C North Mecklenburg | 2027 State NC has already been making waves with her size, and she is certain to get some good minutes playing inside for North Meck this season. She is strong on the block using power dribbles to score some points, and she rebounds well on both ends. She moves well from block to block knowing how to flash in and out of the paint to get open showing off her IQ for how to get open.
Highlights
Jaidiah Blake Jaidiah Blake 5’9″ | PG Terry Sanford | 2027 State NC has been making waves at a young age being a star competing against high school teams. She can certainly knock it down from deep, and you can count on her hitting multiple in a game. Her great ball handling creates her own opportunities, and she can get inside against anyone. She’s already picked up an offer from NC A&T this summer with her strong play on both ends of the court.

Sara Kate Carr Sara Kate Carr 5'9" | PG Wesleyan Christian | 2027 State NC
Sara Kate Carr Sara Kate Carr 5’9″ | PG Wesleyan Christian | 2027 State NC is another Wesleyan Christian athlete who is already stepping up for her team. She has great length that she uses on defense to block passes and shots, and her ability to attack the basket is difficult to defend as she knows how to protect the ball with her moves and handles. She attacks the gaps and slides around the perimeter staying ready to put up her shot.
Kennedy Moore Kennedy Moore 5'4" | CG O'Neal School | 2027 State NC
Kennedy Moore Kennedy Moore 5'4" | CG O'Neal School | 2027 State NC
Kennedy Moore Kennedy Moore 5’4″ | CG O’Neal School | 2027 State NC is an aggressive ball handler that knows how to control the tempo in high school already. Her smooth moves creates space for herself as she can make her shot, or she knows how to make adjustments to get the ball to her teammates. She can keep up with opponents on defense who try to blow by her stripping the ball and using these steals for fast break points.
Miyani Bullock Miyani Bullock 5'4" | PG NC GBB | 2027 State NC
Miyani Bullock Miyani Bullock 5'4" | PG NC GBB | 2027 State NC
Miyani Bullock Miyani Bullock 5’4″ | PG NC GBB | 2027 State NC was my vote for the Game Changers article from Prep Girls Hoops Triumph Region Finals because of the way she can take over a game by finding open lanes and getting to the hoop. She put the team on her back and brought some energy to them while she knocked down shots from around the perimeter when her opponents tried to give her space preventing her from driving to the hoop again. She’s feisty on defense, too, knowing how to move laterally to keep her opponents in front of her at all times.
