As the AAU season comes to a close, these are some players who have impressed. These two backcourts should make a big impact in 2024.

Bothell

[player_tooltip player_id='502386' first='Mckylee' last='Hawkins']
Mckylee is a multi-skilled player. She is an all level scorer and then some. She can shoot it, scores in the paint with her strength and size, and has a multitude of moves to free herself. She plays bigger than she is with that strength. She can do it all and has versatility to play any position on the floor.

[player_tooltip player_id='663652' first='Charlotte' last='Lipkin']
An up and coming player who has shown her skill-set across the board. She is a great shooter. She has a great floor game, and plays with a high basketball IQ. She can handle the ball and play either guard spot. She shoots the three at a high percentage and has a smoothness in the open floor. Great ball-skills. She is ready to make a big jump. She was a steady prescence last season in the backcourt. Stock riser watch next season.

[player_tooltip player_id='398203' first='Ashlyn' last='Peterson']
Ashlyn is a talented player who was the 3rd leading scorer for Bothell last season. She is a shooter. She is excellent at the catch and shoot three. She does a great job of moving without the ball to get open. She has active hands and good quickness on defense. She can finish with creativity in the open floor. She sees the floor well and averaged 3 assists per game last season. She is a very high IQ basketball player with skills to go with it. This is a talented team and with a healthy [player_tooltip player_id='502381' first='Kayleah' last='Hawkins'], they will be looking to make a post season run in 2024.

Lakeside

[player_tooltip player_id='594131' first='Mia' last='Broom']
Mia is more impressive every time I watch her. She is one of the best in the state. She has the ability to score from anywhere, anytime. An elite level shooter with range. She can create her own shot off the dribble with the best of them. Not only is her offensive game impressive, she was the defensive player of the year in her conference last season. She has one of the most complete skill-sets of any guard in the state. She is a stock riser with player of the year capability.

[player_tooltip player_id='591764' first='Willa' last='Chinn']
A versatile player who can play any position on the floor. She has good length for a guard. She has a lot of poise and attacks the defense accordingly. She doesn't get in a hurry and sets herself and her teammates up well. She is great at change of pace to set up the dribble drive and mid-range jumpers. She has the skills to be a good complimentary scorer to Broom. Her role seems irreplaceable on this team next season.

[player_tooltip player_id='753694' first='Lili' last='Brown']
Lili should have a much bigger role for Lakeside next season. She is a good ball handling guard and a threat from three. She played well when I watched Lakeside this summer. She made a few threes and took care of the ball. Those open looks will no doubt be available and Broom and Chinn will find the open shooters.
