Prep Girls Hoops Missouri takes a look at the top Missouri Class of 2024 standouts from our time of watching the Adidas 3SSB Palmetto Road, which was held in Rock Hill, South Carolina. [program_tooltip program_id='712484' first='Della' last='Lamb'] and [program_tooltip program_id='713362' first='Midwest' last='United'] represented the area in South Carolina. Here is how some of their top players fared.

Chase Giddings ([program_tooltip program_id='713362' first='Midwest' last='United']): The 5'8" guard from Lift for Life missed the high school season with an injury, but she has made up for lost time with an excellent grassroots season. She's very smooth offensively with the ability to score at all three levels. She was slashing into the lane with ease and knocking down 3-pointers. She also has a high basketball IQ with good instincts on the defensive end. It's good to see her back in excellent playing form once again.

******

[player_tooltip player_id='299456' first='Kennedy' last='Herrig'] ([program_tooltip program_id='712484' first='Della' last='Lamb']): The 5'11" guard from Liberty North displayed her versatile, all-purpose game that enables her to help her team in a variety of ways. She has the ball handling and playmaking skills to facilitate offense effectively. She moves the ball well and she moves well herself without the ball to keep the offense flowing. She can score around the basket with his height and she hit the open 3-pointer.

******

[player_tooltip player_id='235459' first='Layla' last='Scott'] ([program_tooltip program_id='712484' first='Della' last='Lamb']): The 5'6" point guard from Truman scored 13 points in the game that I watched on Sunday. She was causing problems for the defense with her quickness and dribble penetration. She finished well on runners and short pull up jumpers. She was very good on defense with her rotations, which put her in position to create steals and turnovers with her quick hands and anticipation.

******

Mikala Washington ([program_tooltip program_id='713362' first='Midwest' last='United']): A 5'9" guard from Cardinal Ritter who did a great job of knocking down shots from 3-point range. She really owned the Corner 3 as she ran baseline to baseline to hit numerous triples, including three in a row at one point. She also has good length and athleticism, which enables her to excel on the defensive end.

******

[player_tooltip player_id='207029' first='Cady' last='Huffman'] ([program_tooltip program_id='712484' first='Della' last='Lamb']): The 6'6" center from Lee's Summit West excels at the old-school back to the basket game in the low post. She uses her height to her advantage by sealing defenders and making good catches inside. She keeps the ball high when she finishes. She has a strong defensive presence inside with her positioning and ability to challenge shots.

******

[player_tooltip player_id='644564' first='Brooklynn' last='Williams']s ([program_tooltip program_id='713362' first='Midwest' last='United']): The 5'4" point guard from Ursuline Academy used her speed and quickness to advance upcourt the ball through the dribble or the pass. She was running by defenders in the open court on her way to the basket. She distributes the ball very well and can also break down a defender to create her own shot when she needs to get a bucket.
