Below are the some of the top forwards that were added to the list.
This past HS season Callahan put up 26 in the second half of a game en route to finishing with 32.. but it’s the 20 rebounds that really make the double double stand out. This kid is full of potential and has the size that translates immediately to the next level.. hints to some of the offers that’s been secured. With nothing but time on her side.. Landrie is a shoe in for having a huge upside.
Highlights
If the apple doesn’t fall from the tree then Becca is in on the right path. A standout Volleyball player as well, Becca has all the athleticism and strength to makeup for a key player on any program. Intelligent passer, constant energy, and what it seems to be the humility to play any role and succeed. A player to look into as Washington looks to have a strong season.
Without a top 3 player in my personal favorites in this class.. Ganschow in the post is a serious problem for the opponents On the glass.. she controls everything. Gets great positioning, knows how to relocate to get the long rebound, and her awareness is top tier. Offensively, her comfortability is on the block, but as that expands.. Megan will find her way to the top of this class, very soon.
A 6’1 wing can find themselves on any program based off size alone, Gilbertson’s creativity and overlooked strength is something to mention. As her skillset begins to shape and take form into a versatile wing, Leah has been getting it done with the fundamentals. A player to keep an eye on as her career progresses.
Defensively, Bell has the intangibles to stick out on whatever court sees playing on. The instincts, the length and the awareness of what’s happening around her are the main things that stuck out to me. The ability to block without fouling, picking off steals and blow up passing lanes are the front of it. Having moments as a young player with tremendous growth shows a potential ceiling.. and Bell is on key to have a high way.
