Many players from Michigan made big statements about their game and proved to be grassroots weekend warriors. We’re going to look at some more of those players. Please take a look at the players featured in Part 1 and Part 2 below.
Levine has had a very nice summer on the basketball court and that continued at the PGH 2K23. The Michigan Lady Playmakers star showed a well rounded game over the weekend. The versatile forward proved that she could score from multiple spots on the floor, rebounded well and was a very active defender.
After battling through an injury, it’s safe to say that Wright is back. She brought a lot of energy on both ends of the floor. The Michigan Goonies guard attacked off the bounce and did it going both ways with both hands. Wright was able to create space in the mid range and finished with a nice jumper.

Morson’s performance at the 2K23 was nothing short of special. She was name to the 17u First Team All-Tournament squad. Morson might have been the most athletically fluid player in the gym. She picked her spots and attacked the defense, effectively using angles to get to her spots.
The BNB team rolled through the field to a 4-0 mark at the PGH 2K23 and it was truly a team effort. A key piece to that team effort was Titus. Like another Titus that we all knew well, Selena showed pure point guard skills. She was crafty with the ball and created for herself and her teammates. Titus was able to pressure the ball and create turnovers throughout the weekend.

Straub was really impressive at the Select 40. She is going to be a big time matchup mismatch for a ton of high school teams. Straub scored from all over the floor over the weekend, from catch and shoot triples to back to the basket over the left shoulder finishes. Straub even shot over top of her defenders from the mid range.
