LBI Summer Showcase: Top Performing PG’s Part I

She is cool, calm, collected and poised. She does not get rattled. She plays her pace and everyone else must adjust to it. She is an excellent facilitator. She had numerous plays where she passed her teammates open, feeding them the ball as they quickly cut toward the basket. She can hit the open jumper when called upon and nailed a three point shot when her team needed it. Tiara has a very high basketball IQ. She shot the  lights out of the gymnasium from three. She can consistently knock down the deep ball and she is the player you do not want to leave alone as she will make you pay. She can hit it off the catch or with a hand in her face.  We saw Christian play on and off the ball this weekend and she has no problem with either. She has play making abilities as she is able to score or penetrate and dish. She directs traffic and knows where everyone is supposed to be. She has a knack for making the right play and getting the ball to her teammates in their spots. She is extremely dangerous in the open court. This is not the player you want to see with a head of steam on a fast break as she knows how to attack the rim. Really good. She is one of the fastest PG's in North Carolina and has a lightening quick first step that very difficult to defend. She does a great job penetrating the lane and can get to the free throw line.  She is an excellent decision maker in traffic as she has a knack for making the right play when she gets near the rim. Oshauna had a possession where she utilized a beautiful eurostep through multiple defenders to score in transition.  Defensively, she is an excellent on ball defender. She also does a great job denying her opponents the ball which  completely disrupts the opponent's offense. She did a great job slowing the game down, allowing the team to run through it's offense. She puts the ball where it is supposed to be and stays away from costly turnovers. Defensively, she continued to do a great job getting in the face of her opponents and will make things difficult of opposing PG's who are looking for open lanes.","_player_evaluations_4_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations_5_player":["299441"],"_player_evaluations_5_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_5_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_5_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_5_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_5_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_5_evaluation":"Molly continues to be an impressive guard whose game continues to evolve. Molly was able to shoot the 3 ball well this weekend as her teammates continued to look for her on the perimeter.  Her movement away from the ball is very impressive and she is often able to shake loose from defenders with her constant activity. She plays well in transition as she has more than enough speed to beat opponents down the floor and she can certainly finish at the rim.","_player_evaluations_5_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations_6_player":["690099"],"_player_evaluations_6_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_6_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_6_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_6_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_6_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_6_evaluation":"Jonnae is a pass-first PG who did a nice job for the Lady Monarchs this weekend running the team's offense. She possesses a ton of speed and can beat opponents off the dribble to attack the lane. She constantly has her head up when she gets in the lane and makes good decisions as a facilitator.  She is a very pesky defender who has enough speed to deflect passes and get out on the open court.
