Molly Burns went through her senior season with a vengeance making sure her opponents feared playing against her. She handles the ball well knowing how to control the tempo, and she moves without the ball to get the open look and put up her nice shot from deep. She attacks the basket getting to the rim with ease, and she creates plays for her teammates, too, opening up the court with her drives.

Molly Burns knows how to respond to baskets from her opponents scoring eight straight points off her shot from deep and picking up the steal to push the other direction hitting a solo fast break for two points. She loves to push the tempo getting the ball up the court whether she’s making the smart pass up to her teammates or handling the ball herself no matter what kind of pressure she sees.

Molly Burns has been having a phenomenal year so far with Ardrey Kell. She is smooth handling the ball using her whole body and her facial expressions to sell fakes making her defenders lose their footing. She’s creating more shots for herself getting the open look to show off her range shooting the ball, and she hustles up the court being ready for passes on fast breaks to score two. Her defense is fun to watch as well as she can anticipate what her opponents are going to do jumping in front of passing lanes.

Molly Burns was doing a nice job using hesitation moves to get by her opponents for an open look at the basket. She was all over the court grabbing rebounds including offensive boards using them for second chance points. She opens up the court for her teammates, too, being able to make the wrap around pass to the block. She moves well without the ball sliding around the perimeter to show off her shot from deep hitting several throughout the game on top of her fast break points hustling up the court.

Molly Burns has had a dominant preseason so far with Ardrey Kell, and she is certain to continue that in the regular season. She’s always been handling the ball well for her high school career, and she has been finessing these moves and her decision making to be top notch. Her ability to make plays for herself and her teammates is the key to her team’s success as she makes sharp passes, or she sets herself up for her own shot around the perimeter. She’s feisty on defense being able to strip the ball away from her opponents to take the other direction.

has always been a dependable PG who can score and distribute the basketball. Saturday, she took things a step further as she showed signs of being the PG that can completely take over a game. During a morning contest, she commanded the ball from her teammates and went to work time after time. She was able to use her above-average ball handling abilities to get open and hit shots from deep with hands in her face. She forced the defense to double her to get the ball out of her hands and even then she was able to make plays. Molly also had the best pass that I’ve seen this year, as she lasered a bounce-pass through 2 defenders, into the hands of a teammate who was cutting toward the basket in the paint. Big time players, show up in crunch time and Molly absolutely showed up. After Saturday’s performance, Molly is certainly worthy of more attention on the recruitment trail. She may only be scratching the surface of what she can become over the next several years and there will be programs who are sure to miss out.

Molly continues to be an impressive guard whose game continues to evolve. Molly was able to shoot the 3 ball well this weekend as her teammates continued to look for her on the perimeter. Her movement away from the ball is very impressive and she is often able to shake loose from defenders with her constant activity. She plays well in transition as she has more than enough speed to beat opponents down the floor and she can certainly finish at the rim.

continues to be an impressive PG. She just has a knack for knowing what to do every time the ball is in her hands. She is extremely patient and has excellent court vision and overall awareness. She is the PG that will make the right play with very little flash or fanfare. She has 3 level scoring capabilities. She is a tremendous 3 point shooter and finisher in traffic but she is also able to set up her teammates. She is a true coaches’ player.

was pushing the tempo with her ball handling attacking the lanes and finding her open teammates for some fast breaks. She was effectively using behind the back dribbles protecting each possession. She was able to shoot off the pass or pull up off the dribble knocking down three pointes with ease.

showed off her range shooting the ball even with hands in her face. She stripped the ball from her opponents and pushed it up the court for some fast break points. Her shot was there for her the whole game taking advantage of her defender accidentally giving her some space.
