This includes a live period later this month, but before we get to that live period, it is time to put a bow on this year’s Prep Girls Hoops Circuit. One of the events that is doing just that is the Triumph Region Finals at the Upward Star Center in Spartanburg, South Carolina.
We already looked at a few who were standouts from the first day – a full day’s worth of games. Here is even more who caught our attention from that day.
Olivia Yancey
Olivia Yancey
If one has watched Carolina All-Stars 2027 before, one would know that in order to beat the North Carolina-based travel team, one has to keep Yancey in check. Georgia Elite Sports Invasion 2027 had a hard time doing that on Saturday afternoon as she scored 10 points to up Carolina All-Stars 2027’s record to 2-0. The result of the game was 54-44 – a 10-point margin. Nine of those 10 were put on the board in the second half. Defensively, she will help her teammates out on double and triple teams. Rebounding is another strong point to her game as is the ability to draw contact and get to the free throw line.
Faith Yon
Faith Yon
Yon led the early scoring charge for Carolina All-Stars 2027 as it began the weekend tournament having won the first pair of games. She finished with 12 points in the team’s victory over Georgia Elite Sports Invasion 2027. Yon can connect on her attempts either in the midrange game or at the free throw line. When playing in the frontcourt on offense, she can operate with her back to the basket. Out of the 12 points she placed on the board, 10 of those were scored in the first half of play. The ability to connect on high-percentage shots is another point of emphasis for her game.
Za’leda Cullars
Za’leda Cullars
Georgia Elite Sports Invasion 2027 has plenty of representation from Claxton MS on its roster. Cullars is one of four from the program that comprise the club’s teams cast of characters. On Saturday afternoon, Cullars’ team may have been on the wrong end of a 54-44 decision to Carolina All-Stars 2027, but Cullars was a primetime performer for her team. Cullars finished with 11 points – including scoring eight of those 11 in the second half. Her high basketball IQ enables her to see where the ball is and make moves to the rim. Defensively, she can switch on who she defends and she will, offensively, make use of the glass.
A’chanti Middleton
A’chanti Middleton
Roughly half of the roster for Georgia Elite Sports Invasion 2027 is comprised of talents from Screven County MS. Middleton, a rising eighth grader playing up in class is one of those. Middleton led all point-getters for her team with 13 points despite being on the incorrect end of a 54-44 decision to Carolina All-Stars 2027. Middleton’s court vision enables her to make efficient passes to her teammates. Her rim attacking capabilities make her likely to deliver strong finishes at the rim and she uses her 5-foot-6 height to her advantage on defense when rejecting an opponent’s shot. Her game exemplifies upside.
Upstate Rebels 2026’s fortunes began to turn around later in the afternoon as the first day of the Triumph Region Finals drove on. By virtue of a 16-point performance, Turner led her team to a one-sided victory to dispatch of Richmond Heat 2027. Turner brings plenty of height and stature to Upstate Rebels 2026 as she stands at 5-foot-10. That height combined with talent comes in very useful when converting on high-percentage shot opportunities. Turner is willing to play the game on contact and take her opportunities at the free throw line. Twelve of her 16 points came in the second half.
Carey first caught our attention in the beginning of May at Peach Games in Atlanta. She continued her stellar play throughout the 2023 AAU season on the first day of this year’s Triumph Region Finals. By virtue of a 12-point outing, she was a key player in getting Upstate Rebels to its first victory of the weekend tournament as they earned a lopsided win over Richmond Heat 2027. Carey is a problem for opponents on both ends of the floor as what can typically two points near the basket can become a rejected shot with her patrolling the interior. She will also find creative ways to finish at the rim at times and will only improve as she develops.
Aficionados of 2A Landrum have become accustomed to what this rising sophomore can get accomplished on the court. In a winning effort on Saturday afternoon, she helped her team with 14 points to earn Upstate Rebels 2026’s first victory of the weekend tournament – a lopsided one over Richmond Heat 2026. Fortner places emphasis on ball handling and limiting turnovers. She can get from one end of the court to the other with efficiency and understands the art of passing. A 3-point shot is part of Fortner’s overall offensive repertoire and she compliments it with her ability to get to the free throw line.

Howell’s Upstate Rebels 2026 team got its Triumph Region Finals off on the wrong foot before righting the ship with a pair of victories as Saturday advanced into the afternoon and evening. In one of those matchups with Georgia Elite Sports Invasion 2027, Howell was one of the team’s leading scorers with 11 points. Said scoring efforts began in the first half by virtue of a 3-pointer then with a slew of twos. Seven of those 11 points she tallied were in the first half. Howell is currently listed at 5-foot-7 and is one of two representing Wren as part of the Upstate Rebels 2026 assembling.
Johnson stands as the tallest person listed on the roster for Upstate Rebels 2026. She finished her day at the Upward Star Center with a performance worthy of the building’s namesake. Johnson tallied 10 points as her travel team finished the day with three consecutive victories. She is listed at 5-foot-11 which means she is a reliable option whenever a team is looking to establish itself in close proximity to the basket. This can mean as a scorer on offense, a shot blocker on defense or as a rebounder on either end of the floor. Johnson also plays the game on contact and will take her chances at the free throw line.
Kensleigh Tribble
Kensleigh Tribble
Tribble’s FBC ‘ last=’Dynasty Elite’] 2027 team had a rough go of things seemingly from start to finish on Saturday. But she managed to close her Saturday at the Triumph Region Finals with a stellar individual performance. Tribble tallied 12 points in what was a tough matchup against an Upstate Rebels 2026 team that had momentum after victories in its previous pair of matchups. Tribble is a pure point guard. She is very quick to the rim, places plenty of emphasis on taking care of the ball. Limiting turnovers is a key element of Tribble’s game in addition to delivering strong finishes at the rim and being accurate as a passer.
