There are always players who are either missed or have played their way up the rankings. These are players who are making a strong case to join the rankings. With each update we strive to get a more accurate evaluation of players and either add new ones or move others up. These are players all players who could make their rankings debut. There are plenty more to mention in future articles.
Genesis Hopkins Genesis Hopkins 5'11" | SF Holy Names | 2024 State WA – 6’0 F – Holy Names – 2024
Genesis was a 2nd team all Metro league pick last season, averaging 18 points and 11 rebounds per game. She is a skilled player on the block with great footwork and a soft shooting touch. She is a great shot blocker and the double double average speaks for itself. She can run the floor, and finish with either hand around the basket. She will no doubt enter the rankings as a player who has the talent to crack the top 30, if not higher.
Darcy McCoy Darcy McCoy 5'8" | PG Eastlake | 2024 State WA – 5’9 – PG – Eastlake – 2024
The point guard for the defending 4A champion Eastlake. She is a good shooter who can stretch the defense and provide scoring when teams focus on players like Sofia Aluas Sofia Aluas 5'9" | SG Eastlake | 2024 State WA and Tatum Wood Tatum Wood 5'9" | SF Eastlake | 2024 State WA . She handles the ball well and runs the show for Eastlake.
Isabelle Stogsdill Isabelle Stogsdill 6'0" | PF Kentwood | 2024 State WA – 6’0 – F – Kentwood – 2024
An athletic player with length and size. She is versatile and talented enough to get it done on the offensive end as well as being a good defensive player who rebounds and blocks shots.
Siri Fauske Siri Fauske 6'0" | PF Mount Si | 2024 State WA – 6’0 – F – Mount Si – 2024
Siri is a skilled player with great size. She has a nice offensive game, using that size and some skilled moves on the block and in the open floor. She rebounds and holds down the paint well.
Kessa Nohr Kessa Nohr 5'10" | SG Sumner | 2026 State WA – 5’10 – SF – Sumner – 2026
A talented player who shoots it really well from three. She has a quick release and can get hot in a hurry. She has decent length on the perimeter and runs the floor, can finish at the rim, and handles it well enough to get the break started. An important role with her ability to stretch the floor and open things up for Lainee Houillon Lainee Houillon 5'7" | PG Sumner | 2024 State WA , Olivia Collins Olivia Collins 5'9" | CG Sumner | 2026 State WA , and incoming freshman Kawehi Borden Kawehi Borden 5'11" | PF Sumner | 2027 WA .
Isabella Albaugh Isabella Albaugh 5'10" | SG Washougal | 2024 State WA – 5’10 – SG/SF – Washougal – 2024
Averaged 16.7 points per game last season. With a great summer showing on her high school team, she is making the case as a player who should get a lot more attention next season. She was a 2nd team all league pick in the GSHL 2A league last season.
