For some, their respective skills and talents have not gone unnoticed as many have received offers to further their basketball careers. These are the players who are being heavily recruited, at the moment, either heading into their Junior year or Senior Year.
Sydney Benally Sydney Benally 5'9" | PG Sandia | 2025 State NM | PG | 2025 |
One of the most dynamic players and arguably the best point guard in the State, Sydney Benally Sydney Benally 5'9" | PG Sandia | 2025 State NM of Sandia High School is having herself a terrific off-season in which she has received nine collegiate offers, all coming at the Division 1 level. Overall, Benally has close to 20 programs interested across various divisions.
A career 20 PPG scorer, Benally is also a tenacious defender and a terrific facilitator, averaging 3.1 SPG & 3.6 APG respectively.

Love, who is entering her Senior year, racked up two additional Division 1 offers over the summer playing on the travel circuit at numerous events and showcases.
The 2024 prospect is smooth in the midrange and knows how to get to her spots while also having active hands defensively with good instincts.
A career double-digit scorer, averaging 11.1 PPG in 60 GP for the La Cueva Bears.

Audriana Wright Audriana Wright 5'10" | SF Sandia | 2025 State NM | SF | 2025 |
Wright, who will now be a Junior, is a next-level prospect that is now coming into her own.
A “3 & D” type player who is valuable to the Matadors success in terms of matchups, rotations and of course production. Last season, Wright averaged 11 PPG, while totaling 44 3PM and coming away with 55 total steals.

Clay is a fantastic player to have in the half-court thanks to her ability to play both on ball and off. Bhret is a mismatch at the SG position due to her physicality and speed. Strong at the point of attack and does a great job of getting to the foul line. The Hobbs prospect is being eyed by Universities both at the Division 1 & Division 2 levels.

A Top 10 scorer amongst the 2024 class who averaged 13 PPG. As a Junior, Buendia appeared in 26 games, totaling 339 PTS for the Lovington Wildcats.
A rhythm shooter that is fundamentally sound with the determination to keep improving. Buendia, a now Senior, recently picked up her fist official collegiate offer in June.

A defensive anchor that does a good job of altering shots and forcing low percentage attempts. Cunningham is physical down in the paint and stands her ground, hardly surrendering post position. A fierce competitor on the court that has helped the Eagles succeed.

David, a versatile player due to her length and size, is a high energy, high motor player that does the little things for a team – Rebounds and defends – Primarily playing in the interior, David has the speed and athleticism to stay in front of guards out on the perimeter.
