One of the top front-court players at the 5A level, Cunningham is an interior force with great hands and footwork. The six-foot forward is a deadly option in the pick’n’roll game but can also score in isolation down on the block.
Cunningham, the third Eagles player to reach the 1,000 point mark, did so in a 75-24 win vs Las Cruces on Jan. 14 (Week 8).

Throughout the tournament, Cunningham made winning plays on both ends of the floor for Hobbs. Defensively, the lanky senior forward seemed to always be in a good position to alter/block shots. On the flip-side, Cunningham used her length to clean the offensive glass and convert relief points around the basket.
In the title game, Cunningham was the Eagles second leading scorer, finishing with 15 points.

Cunningham is a versatile defender with good length and mobility. Furthermore, Kyndle has great awareness and more importantly, is vocal on the defensive end.
Listed at 6’0″, Cunningham matches up well versus opposing forwards and centers. Physical in her own right, Kyndle is not afraid to ‘bang’ inside the paint-area. Additionally, Cunningham is a solid shot blocker who remains vertical on contests.

Kyndle is a two-way playmaker who anchors the defense for the Lady Eagles.
Cunningham, who averaged 11.3 points and 6.6 rebounds during the 2024 State Tournament, was an All-State Second Team Selection in 2023-24 thanks to her ability to provide timely buckets on offense, while also getting stops on defense.
The 6’0″ PF/C has four collegiate offers, all coming from the Division II level. Eastern New Mexico (ENMU) Colorado State University-Pueblo (CSU-P), Western New Mexico (WNMU) and West Texas A&M.

Cunningham is a physical frontcourt player that is comfortable operating from the mid-range. On the flip side, Kyndle is a defensive anchor who shines as a shot blocker. The 6’0″ forward does a great job of staying vertical on the contest and gives her teammates a safety blanket, in regards to being a reliable help side defender. At this point, Cunningham has been offered by multiple Division II programs such as West Texas A&M, ENMU, and WNMU.
