Aliyah Katelyn Carroll (5’10/CG/’24/Team Melo)

Aliyah is Ms. Do-It-All for her squad. She showed her versatility by being a multi-level scorer, specifically in the ways that she scores the rock. She has a good handle and a knack for creating her own shot. She is at her best when slashing her way to the cup, collapsing defenses, and leaving them at the mercy of her playmaking skills. She showed that she can score from the perimeter, but she is going to have to continue to put in work in that area of her game so that she can be more consistent. She had her talent and potential on full display throughout the weekend and caught some eye in the process.
Mia Woolfolk (6’2/PF|C/’24/Boo Williams)

Mia was absolutely phenomenal throughout the weekend. She was one of the best interior players in the building. She played a physical brand of basketball, and many could not match her intensity or physicality. She loves physical drives where she gets a half step past her defender, gets her shoulder into them, and holds her position as she finishes with force at the rim. She showed her ability to score in the paint with touch and did a great job finishing thru contact. She is a potential walking double-double every time she steps onto the court as she looks to dominate every possession.
Qandace Samuels (6’3/CG/’27/Team Takeover)

Qandace was playing up with Team Takeover, and she proved that she could handle her own. She showed a lot of promise as she showed her ability to compete at a high level. She has a good skill set and can score at multiple levels, and she really showed range from deep. She showed the ability to push in transition and make good decisions with the rock as she led the break. Qandace has a nice feel for the game and feel for getting her shot which was impressive as she played up. She has good positional size and length that helps her to impact the game on both ends of the floor. She is definitely a player to keep an eye on as she has a chance to develop into a high-level prospect.

Taylor is a stout post player who can get it done in the scoring column. She is very physical and establishes a lot of the interior real estate as her own. She showed her ability to score in bunches with a nice middle game and a soft touch inside the arc. She understands how to maneuver in the paint and is a player that defenses must adjust to throughout the game. Taylor is a mentally and physically tough kid that cannot be punked. She still needs to expand her game in ways beyond the scoresheet that will help boost her stock, for example, being more vocal, expanding her ability to defend in space, and being a better pick-and-roll defender.

Jada Skipper (5’0/PG/’25/Team Texas)
Instagram: jadaskipper
Jada is a small PG that showed her ability to facilitate and score when needed. With her low center of gravity, she was tough to contain off the bounce. She has good vision and court awareness. She has really solid handles and can shake her defender, get into the lane, and create open opportunities for her teammates. One thing is for sure when it comes to Jada is that she is a gifted passer who lives in the paint by constantly breaking down defenders, collapsing defenses, and then showing her creative playmaking skills, including her crafty passing skills.
Alyana Chantel McGarity (5’9/SF/’25/Stat Elite)

Alyana was one of the best two-way players I saw at the tourney. Offensively she has a good handle and showed that she can initiate the offense and create scoring opportunities. She brings complementary playmaking on offense as she is not the primary initiator or creator but can provide it if needed. She is a listed SF, but she showed that she could play the 1-3, and she showed she can defend where she plays. Alyana plays with a lot of intensity on defense and is a tough, one-on-one defender in space.
