The 3 point shot has really become a major weapon in basketball. The State of Florida has numerous players who shoot the long ball well. In this article, we take a look at "some" of the top three point shooters in the State.

[player_tooltip player_id='248293' first='Paige' last='Atwater'] had 89 threes last high school season in 25 games which averages out to 3.5 threes per game. She ranked number 1 in the 2024 class and in the top 10 last year in the entire State (see max prep)

[player_tooltip player_id='214172' first='Beckham' last='Hockley'] is one of the top players who can play the 1 or the 2 and can really shoot and handle the ball. She finished in the top 7 despite missing a few games due to injury. She is a competitor and when on the court she doesn't take the pedal off the medal. Hockley finished last season with 62 threes in just 21 games. Basically, she averaged an incredible 3 threes per game.

[player_tooltip player_id='248291' first='Kennedy' last='Rosendahl'] is another great shooter in the 2024 class and is one of the most selfless players on this list. Rosendahl is an efficient shooter and has always hovered around the 40 percent mark. She once made 10 threes in an AAU game and would have had another one if her shoe wasn't "on the line." Many disagreed with the referee's call but, no one disagrees that she is one of the most prolific shooters in the 2024 class.

[player_tooltip player_id='349375' first='Morgan' last='Gavazzi'] runs the point and still ranks high in the three pointer department. The Senior guard can flat out shoot the ball. She might account for more threes than any player in the State when you factor in her threes and the assists she piles up when dishing the rock to Rosendahl and company.

[player_tooltip player_id='426336' first='Natalie' last='Allen'] is a dangerous player from behind the arc and watching her shoot the three is poetry. She gets to her spot and has a quick release and is very accurate shooting the ball.

[player_tooltip player_id='221691' first='Mary' last='Kate Kent'] (cover) is a great 3 point shooter and one of the tops in the State of Florida. She finished second in the 2024 class with 79 threes and 17th overall. Mind you, Kent played with Taliah Scott who averaged 36 points per game 109 threes. Kent is an energetic and plays with a lot of heart. Her motor runs from pregame to post-game. The 2023 - 2024 season is going to be fun to watch and Scott's records and other school records may not be safe.

[player_tooltip player_id='349274' first='Ella' last='Stakem'] can flat-out shoot the ball and had a monster live period in July, knocking down 7 threes in one game and on several occasions, connecting on 4 to 5 threes. Stakem is one of the top shooters in the State of Florida and has a mean float - game as well.

[player_tooltip player_id='401617' first='Hailey' last='Revak'] is a three point specialist. When she is spotted up, she can catch and shoot the three with best of them. Playing with guards who can draw the defense is when Revak excels and she is very efficient. She was one of the top three point shooters during the Spring and Summer AAU periods. She had multiple games of 4 or more.
