The list of accolades that have been earned by [player_tooltip player_id='252387' first='Aaliyah' last='Crump'] is lengthy. The incoming junior from Minnetonka is the #1 prospect in Minnesota in the Class of 2025, a five-star athlete ranked in the Top 10 nationally, and one of the most highly sought recruits in the nation. But there is no higher honor available to girls basketball players in this country than to represent the United States on the world stage. That's what Aaliyah did this summer. Along with winning a 17U AAU State Championship with [program_tooltip program_id='712722' first='North' last='Tartan'], and garnering a string of glowing reviews on the EYBL Circuit, Crump collected collegiate offers at a healthy clip. Allow us, if you will, to toss one more honor Crump's way: Prep Girls Hoops 2025 AAU Most Valuable Player.

Compared to all that other stuff, the PGH honor might not garner as many headlines nor as much fanfare. But to players in Minnesota, being declared the best among your age-level peers should be considered a big deal, especially when you look at who else stood out in the age group. [player_tooltip player_id='205298' first='Jordan' last='Ode'] of [program_tooltip program_id='712687' first='Minnesota' last='Fury'] 2025 UAA, working in tandem with last year's 2025 AAU Most Valuable Player [player_tooltip player_id='252379' first='Addison' last='Mack'], took the Under Armor Circuit by storm and had an unbelievable summer by every measure. [player_tooltip player_id='296527' first='Aneisha' last='Scott'] led [program_tooltip program_id='712665' first='Metro' last='Stars'] 2024 to an outstanding season while playing one year up. And then there is [player_tooltip player_id='296528' first='Sam' last='Wills'] of Minnesota Stars 2025 3SSB, one of the state's most consistently productive performers at any level.

Crump's potential has been well-chronicled. She has been a consensus #1 in the Class of 2025 since we first named the Freshmen 50 for that grade back in the fall of 2021. She's long and fluid, with wonderful touch around the basket, terrific body control, and a large box of tools to utilize. Over time she has improved incrementally, her mental game has gotten so much stronger, and she has learned how to deliver at a very high level when the game is on the line. Aaliyah played her best basketball to date in the summer of 2023 and she still has two more full seasons of high school basketball to go before some lucky program lands the prize recruit. Congrats Aaliyah. You earned this honor!

PLEASE NOTE

One important point to note about our AAU All-Star selections: Prep Girls Hoops picks players based on their graduation year, not the level they competed at in 2023. That means an athlete from the Class of 2026 who played with the 2025s, such as [player_tooltip player_id='252383' first='Lanelle' last='Wright'] ([program_tooltip program_id='712722' first='North' last='Tartan']), could be selected for the 2026 All Stars but not the 2025s. The same would be true of a 2027 like [player_tooltip player_id='377584' first='Ava' last='Cupito'] of [program_tooltip program_id='712665' first='Metro' last='Stars'], who will be given consideration in her own grade. Also, each of our selections is from the state of Minnesota. We'll offer separate recognition later this month for out-of-state competitors who play on Minnesota teams. Without further ado, here are the Prep Girls Hoops Class of 2025 All Stars.

FIRST TEAM
