Bradie Schlabs – East (WY) – 2024
Schlabs was highly effective getting downhill and facilitating throughout the event. The Wyoming based guard proved incredibly quick with the ball, getting to the rim through a variety of avenues. Having the ball on a string going either direction, there was little the defense could do to slow her down outside of aggressive help in the paint. Schlabs repeatedly broke down opponents with a variety of combos moves, utilizing her acute awareness to take advantage of those drives. She displayed capabilities making a variety of pass types in traffic, notably productive with one handed dimes to anywhere within the halfcourt. While getting downhill, Schlabs did well either utilizing her initial advantage to get into the paint or keep a defender on her hip before exploding downhill. There were few guards at this event with her on-ball quickness, proving capable of finishing layup attempts off-balance or from a strong two foot stop. Defensively, the guard matched up well against opposing playmakers, proving quick and handsy against opponents at the point of attack.
Olivia Campbell – Fruita Monument – 2025
Campbell continues to impress through her defensive instincts and activity generating transition situations. The incoming junior guard was especially active on the defensive end, keeping her arms up to get in the way of passing lanes to convert into fast breaks. While in transition, Campbell consistently made quality decisions setting up teammates for great looks around the rim or spot-up attempts. On offense, Campbell showed upside knocking down jumpers off the catch when given space to settle. The guard did well impacting the game in a variety of ways, nothing that should be overlooked for a 5’8 guard.
Kate Fuessel Kate Fuessel 5'10" | CG Valor Christian | 2027 State CO – Valor Christian – 2027
Fuessel was a valuable playmaker throughout this event, consistently making selfless decisions for her teammates. The incoming freshman brought value in a variety of areas, capping it off with quick processing speeds all around the floor. Combined with consistent hustle plays of loose balls and rebounds, Fuessel created various steals leading to a change of possession. On multiple occasions, she sprinted from the perimeter to crash the glass, although when opponents seemingly secured the rock, she was right there to rip it away. The guard was effective playmaking with the ball, keeping her eyes up for passing opportunities to perimeter shooters. Off of defensive rebounds, Fuessel sought outlet passes for guards sprinting up the lane. Although a valuable playmaker, the guard brought consistency as a shooter off the catch, knocking down an efficient clip from beyond the arc.
Coryn Watts Coryn Watts 5'8" | CG Regis Jesuit | 2024 State CO – Regis Jesuit – 2024
Watts was a consistent contributor at this event through her facilitating and concise scoring impact. The combo guard proved effective getting to her mid-range jumper, setting up for her jump shot within a couple dribbles. While behind the arc, Watts stayed shot ready off the catch and added value through her floor spacing. While tasked with passing responsibilities, Watts was accurate hitting transition scorers with halfcourt dimes.
