EOT Summer Swoosh AZ Standouts Pt. 2

She was constantly looking to advance the ball whenever possible. She finished on the break and confidently shot the ball when given the opportunity. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='205647' first='Maureen' last='Ulrich'] <strong>Xavier Prep </strong>(SW Premier 17 Champions League)</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Ulrich is a strong wing who knows how to use her body and keep defenders at a disadvantage. She has a good handle and moves well without the ball. Her perimeter shot is improving which makes her even more dangerous. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='205648' first='Isabella' last='Majarucon'] <strong>Deer Valley</strong> (SW Premier 17 Champions League) <strong>(Featured Image)</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>She's a tough guard who likes to get in the paint and bang with opposing players. Majarucon repeatedly did so with success, finishing through contact. She's a solid ballhandler and plays good defense.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='511033' first='Dianalynn' last='Howell'] <strong>Dream City Christian</strong> (SW Premier 16 Champions League)</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>A strong power forward that showed she could also put it on the floor when needed. She takes high-percentage shots and stays within the team concept. An above-average rebounder, Howell seeks the ball out like a true rebounder on both ends of the court. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='655631' first='Carmella' last='Gallardo'] <strong>Seton Catholic Prep</strong> ([program_tooltip program_id='715422' first='AZ' last='Fire'] Wimbish)</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Gallardo showed that she is more than capable of running the point when called upon. She's tough and knows how to keep the defender off her. Her jump shot is as good as it comes in her class. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='660334' first='Mia' last='DiPuccio'] <strong>Seton Catholic Prep </strong>(SW Premier 16 Champions League)</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>DiPuccio showed versatility in that she was comfortable on the perimeter playing defense. Her ball handling has improved. She's a bonafide inside/outside threat. She can put the ball on the floor and finish with either hand. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='673099' first='Tatiana' last='Harness'] <strong>Leading Edge Academy </strong>(Sports Academy Swish 15U EYBL)</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Harness is a crafty scoring guard who can score in a variety of ways. She can get her shot off inside against taller players and has a quick release on her three-pointers. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='639496' first='LaToya' last='Brooks'] <strong>Williams Field</strong> ([program_tooltip program_id='715422' first='AZ' last='Fire'] Wimbish) </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Brooks is an athletic wing who was playing all downhill the couple of games that I saw of her. She has a nice mid-range game with a good touch from fifteen feet and in. She is a capable defender and showed good lateral speed. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='640378' first='Ava' last='Lewis'] <strong>Casteel </strong>([program_tooltip program_id='715422' first='AZ' last='Fire'] Shand)</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The young forward played her usual solid game all weekend. Ava's offensive game continues to evolve as she is getting more comfortable stepping away from the rim. She rebounded very well with multiple double doubles. <br><br></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph -->
