Newble proved to be a knockdown shooter throughout this event, capable of stepping into threes while in transition with ease. The 5'8 guard out of Horizon was among the most consistent three point shooters, getting the vast majority of her shots off the catch. Although an excellent off-ball scorer, Newble did leverage her perimeter gravity for driving lanes, staying aware of the defense while attacking. Off of those driving lanes, she did well recognizing where corner and wing shooters were available, setting them up with kick out passes. Defensively, Newble had active hands, instigating against passing lanes.

Moon was active as a playmaker, pushing the pace off of defensive rebounds before the defense could set up. While attacking in the open floor, the freshman did well keeping her eyes up for open teammates, often while they slashed towards the rim. Moon's finishing ability around the rim was a notable area of intrigue, especially effective at drawing fouls or finishing the off-balance shot following a bump. Defensively, she had good hands while defending at the point of attack, moving her feet quickly before tipping the ball away upon a drive.

Moon proved to be a capable playmaker, an ambidextrous playmaker while attacking downhill. She brought a valuable combination of perimeter shooting and ball handling equity, effective in a variety of offensive scenarios. Moon was a willing shooter, stepping into three pointers or attacking a hard closeout to pull-up in the mid-range if help fails to arrive on time. If the lane opened up, she read the floor quickly to attack downhill, either drawing contact or scoring around the contest.

Boyd was among the most influential defensive prospects within the backcourt, possessing especially quick feet and hands. At roughly 5'5, the guard averaged right around 4 steals per game at this event, assertive and aggressive at the point of attack. When opponents attempted to set ball screens or utilize handoffs in the corners, Boyd was quick to trap and force the ball handler into a difficult decision. Off of those defensive possessions, Boyd was active attacking in transition. She proved to have excellent touch on near full court passes, on one such possession she looked like a quarterback, sending a one handed outlet on point. Boyd was an especially quick ball handler while attacking downhill, capable of creating space off the initial first step.

Fuessel brought a little bit of everything to the table, effective as a rebounder and facilitator. At roughly 5'10, the guard was an active offensive rebounder, always roaming around for the next opportunity. Her footwork is a clear asset, effective at creating scoring opportunities off of spin moves. Coming out of those self created moves, she maintained control for short floaters or ambidextrous finishes. Off the catch, Fussel was effective knocking down three point attempts off the catch, not fazed by an incoming contest.
