There was a lot of out-of-state representation among the first and second team all-tourney selections, so we’ll be combining the New Jersey selections into one article.
First Team
Stella Lockhart Stella Lockhart 6'1" | CG St. John Vianney | 2026 State NJ – St. John Vianney (2026)
Tall guards and forward dominate the first and second team all-tourney selections for New Jersey, beginning with the future Lady Lancer, an exciting talent from Gill St. Bernard’s with three years to grow and flourish as a six-foot combo guard/forward mix. Above anything, she’s got talent and untapped potential that head coach Dawn Karpell will look to unlock. Her height will help on the stat sheet, but just as much with in-game decision making, like helping out during a fast break or slowing the game down to disrupt the flow and gain back momentum for her team.
Priyanka Ponnam Priyanka Ponnam 6'3" | SF Blair | 2026 State NJ – Blair Academy (2026)
A new addition to Blair Academy’s roster come next season, Ponnam is a massive presence down low, a beast of a forward that has a great understanding of what kind of post player she can be. Her success and raw ability as a forward has already attracted several Power Five offers as she continues to refine her game as a big. The more she gets her body under herself, often the case with a lot of these younger bigs, she’s going to use that physicality to her advantage that much more.
Second Team
Jahzara Green Jahzara Green 6'1" | PF Gloucester Catholic | 2026 State NJ – Gloucester Catholic (2026)
Green has proven herself to be one of the better forwards in the 2026 class in New Jersey, which definitely played out during the high school season. The 6-1 Green plays just as well as a guard, a hybrid role on the floor that’s kept her agile and mobile as a big. She was balling out this summer for Philly Rise’s 15U EYBL team and what we’ve come to love about bigs is that they can just take over a game on a dime. Green has that kind of potential already in her bag.
Sidney Smith Sidney Smith 5'5" | PG Roselle Catholic | 2026 State NJ – Roselle Catholic (2026)
Smith had just about as good a freshman season as one could ask for with Roselle Catholic, averaging nearly 15.5 PPG, but she’s done well to continue to transform her game in the summer. Playing for Team Sharp has allowed Smith to match up with some of the best AAU talent in the Northeast and the East Coast of the US. She’s certainly proved her worth as an impact player for years to come with Roselle Catholic, and we wouldn’t be surprised to see colleges already putting her on their radar.
